Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q

Just went to Rome Jim ‘N Nick’s and they are out of pork on a Saturday at 6:00 pm. Never going back.

1st try; a baked potato the size of a tennis ball, hard as a rock with ice still in it. 2nd try, 3 years later: Cold meat and surly service. 3rd try: There won't be one.

We visited your new establishment in Pace, FL, and I must express that the overly polite demeanor came across as insincere, resembling poor acting. Authenticity is crucial for staff interactions. I have not experienced such a disingenuous atmosphere in a restaurant before. However, I would like to commend the food, which was excellent, and we do plan to return. The atmosphere, however, felt excessively artificial.

food is absolutely amazing. food was promptly delivered to our table and was just what we ordered. our server was Gabriella. she was very friendly and professional. Julie and byron were the managers on duty. they have amazing customer service.

Went to the new Hickory, NC location with my husband, sister in law and her husband yesterday and it was great! The staff was super friendly and attentive, the food was great, only drawback is there is limited parking, everyone was circling around over and over to find parking, but we really enjoyed the food and will definitely recommend and return.

So maybe they just had an off day, but unfortunately did not have a good experience with Jim and Nick's BBQ. Not bad food, just not for me. I ordered 1lb of Lean brisket, maybe Lean means something different in the south, as 40% of my order was fat. Don't get me wrong, some people like that, I'm just not one of them. I'm a bit of a BBQ snob being from Kansas City, so to be fair, its a biased opinion. ? if you like fatty meat, then by all means, it's for you! I did however enjoy the potato salad, bland, but I like it like that. The BBQ sauce they served was terrible though, I mean bad, lol.. don't know what's in it, but I would highly recommend asking for the BBQ on the side.

We enjoyed supper here! Our first time! We were actually planning on eating at chili's, but there was an hour wait. We didn't have to wait, and the food came out almost immediately and was delicious. I love the corn!

The Classic Pulled Pork plate was very good. Included 2 sides. The corn on the cob was 2 thumbs up.

Not what I was expecting based on my experience with the Jim and Nicks in Southern Georgia and South Carolina! I even had it cater for my baby shower. But this location does it all wrong and they charge for extra cheese bread! What!!! Definitely can be better and isn't a good representation of what Jim and Nicks really is!

Best BBQ in Augusta! Jim 'N Nick's is exactly the flavor boost the town needed ? I first tried them out on Sunday and I just had another DELICIOUS meal from them again today. I've had the ribs, white meat chicken in-the-bone, greens, potato salad, coleslaw, onion rings, cheddar biscuits & BBQ sauce, all absolutely delicious! Definitely a place to try if you haven't and if you really know BBQ, you'll be hooked too!

I will not visit this establishment again. Service was great, but the food not so much. And they don't have hash. Never saw a BBQ restaurant that didn't have hash and rice. ?
