The food was descent! Nice atmosphere and it was different than what I would normally go for.

The food is fantastic, fresh ingredients and great flavor on their dishes. The service on the other hand, meh, maybe it was just a bad day, but we were chewing on ice to finish our meals because we never got a refill despite three different people bringing out food out at different times. We had to ask for the check since it appeared as if they were never going to bring it to us. I recommend getting take out.

I walked in to try it for the first time at lunch and was told by a server there would be a 45 minute wait on food, for my party of 2. There were only 10-12 people in the restaurant and they didn't know what I wanted to order. No explanation was offered, so we went elsewhere.

Food was really good. But the service was terribly slow. Sat for at least 20 minutes waiting on check after food was gone

The appetizer was decent, but the food made me and my husband nauseous just from the smell. Taste didn't help. A little overpriced, too.

This place is fantastic! If you think a ramen shop is a little weird then you must try ACTUAL ramen. The meals are great and the speciality drinks (Such as their tea) is even better. It can get a little pricey but it's worth a try.

Server was rude. The one with the crooked face and bad attitude. Asked if I could add spice to the ramen and he said while pointing at the 3 options " not spicy, spicy, not spice". Then I asked if we could add spice thinking he misheard the question and he repeated himself pointing at the 3 options saying " not spicy, spicy, not spicy. So the answers no", and turn around and walked away. Didnt care to take our orders and even didnt put in our gyoza until the other server (the much nicer person) asked if we needed anything. Ramen was worst then instant and $2 for ONE can of coke. WILL NOT RETURN. Paid $30 for a horrible meal. Gyoza was spot on though.

I absolutely love the chicken katsu! The dumplings/Goya is delicious as well as the ramen.

Kawa was a pretty sad experience unfortunately. Two of my friends and I went here during our lunch break and were pretty disappointed. I got the Chicken Teriyaki Rice Bowl and it was decent. I enjoyed the grilled taste of the chicken but the rice was very gross. One of my friends got 3 different kinds of sushi: the Cucumber Roll, the California Roll and the Tuna Roll. The Cucumber Roll was very sour, the California Roll was very bland and the Tuna Roll was very fishy (good fresh sushi shouldn't have a fishy smell/taste). My other friend got the Green Tea Cheesecake and said it was decent but it was very small and it was $7! Finally, to top it all off, the water tasted like it came from the sewers! I wouldn't recommend this place. Sorry Kawa!

The ramen/ udon here is very good the broth is complex with different flavors. I am also a big fan of the Japanese style street food items they have. I never thought I would find octopus balls in Augusta but they have them and they are as good as any that I have had overseas. Prices are extremely reasonable for what you get. Service is laid back but efficient with good timing of the meal. We will definitely return to Kawa in the future. I do wish they did a cool happy hour that would feature some additional Japanese street food tapas items.

Great, affordable sushi and plenty of other delicious options. This is a great spot for business lunches and for dinner.

Food is pretty good but wait time is a bit on the longer side. Prices are reasonable. Portion is a bit small but taste is good. Very authentic. Really yummy food for this region.

I thought my selection was delicious. I had the Oyako Don (I think I spelled it right). It was chicken egg and onion over rice. The egg was a little softer than what I usually eat, but I enjoyed it. I also had the seaweed salad. Like I said everything was delicious. I will be back.

Tonight we were at Kawa for a birthday dinner. There were 8 adults and 1 child. The restaurant was nearly empty except for us.
