Absolutely love stopping in and getting a cupcake to share with my grandson as an afternoon treat! There’s a fantastic variety which is a great excuse to try a new one!

One of the best bakery places we've been to. Never had a bad experience, friendly service and delicious cupcakes. Definitely worth a try.

I have shopped for over 20 years at the Lil Dutch Bakery, used to walk over from GMC as a student. Back then it was run by some Mennonite baking wonders. The ownership has changed hands a few times since then even Sunrise breakfast restaurant ran it for a minute but eventually sold it. The people who they sold it too took over even opened a new location in Grovetown but our small little location in Martinez has been sadly abandoned. If you are not the first person in the door you are not getting what you want. Don't be 10 minute late much less an hour after they open the later you come the chance of getting anything will be gone. The quality of the product fluctuates I guess it all depends on the Baker that day. They where dry and overcooked today, but I also bought some day old rolls which where a lot better then today's baked. So sad to see them going in a down direction.

The rolls used to be a Saturday breakfast staple in our house for years, but I’m finding it harder and harder to come here and it makes me sad. Used to get here before opening just to make sure I was able to get some warm, fresh rolls before they sold out, and now it seems like every time I pick up rolls they are no longer fresh. Like they’ve been baked the day before and left to sit, but still priced like they’re freshly baked. Today’s rolls looked like they were all baked individually rather than together as part of a whole sheet, and have that crusty bread exterior rather than a soft delightful exterior. I feel like I’ve been disappointed the last several times I’ve been in, and so my visits are dwindling. Will be hard to continue to support what used to be my favorite bakery in town.

I ordered a red velvet cake, but I didn’t get a red velvet cake. It was a regular vanilla cake dyed red, which was really disappointing. I paid $45 for the cake plus $30 for decorations. However, one of the decorations was ripped when I got it. The people I spoke to were nice but the actual cake wasn’t great.

Went into the grovetown location for the first time the other day and instantly loved everything about this beautiful bakery! Immediately smelled incredible and everything was very very clean and shiny and very obvious cared for properly.

The lady who served me was very sweet and helped me pick a cupcake flavor to try and recommended the salted caramel and it was absolutely delicious ? stuffed with some of the frosting and caramel (I think) syrup of some kind. It was perfect for my sweet tooth, but not overly sweet. The cake itself was very moist as well.

I also tried this lemon strawberry square thing. Was kinda like a lemon blondie with thick strawberry frosting. Again not too sweet though and very balanced between the two flavours. Neither overwhelmed the other which I appreciated as a big fan of both.

The male worker from the back came to take my order with the nastiest attitude! I ordered two cupcakes and asked for them to be separated after he put them in the same box he smacked his teeth and rolled his eyes , threw the boxes down ! He doesn’t not have good customer service fire him !

There are cakes taste pretty bad. The frosting is just sugar and nothing else. And the red velvet inside is nothing but a boatload of red dye. It was cheap but still waste of money. I wish they put some effort. Trust me you are better off making a cake at home. That or find any other bakery.

I ordered a strawberry cake a week in advance for my daughter's birthday. It was fast service and I got what I ordered and paid $60. I received a strawberry cake that was so dense, full of sugar, tasted so imitation without real pieces of strawberry with pink bubblegum frosting. This cake tasted like a box cake with added sugar and the worst frosting imaginable. No one ate the cake I repeat no one ate the cake. I threw away slice after slice. Such a waste of money for the price. A bakery other than a grocery store I thought I was getting a top tier cake. Not at all!!!! It wasn't a real strawberry cake at all should have went to publix for the cheap.

It’s honestly really difficult to say whether or not I recommend this place. Most of the baked goods are some of the best quality in the area.. but if you want to go somewhere that you’ll receive a welcoming feeling.. I don’t recommend the new location. The prices aren’t listed on a single product, so there was a lot of “I believe it’s this price”. The gentleman who “helped” me had zero customer service skills and was borderline rude. He also had his long hair down hanging over the baked goods as he boxed them up for me. The original location is a much better overall experience, with A LOT more options to choose from. I was hoping to grab a cake today but there was not a single one. The amount of icing on the cupcakes is a bit absurd so I’ll probably take half of it off. I was very excited that they were opening a new location in Grovetown but I’d honestly much rather take the trek out to Augusta after the experience I just had.
