The chicken is lightly battered and golden brown but lacked taste. I heard this was an Augusta staple so I had to try. Yes , the outside of the building looked sketchy but sometimes that's where you find the best food. Not the case this time.

Highly disappointed at the food. Not only did I wait for the better part of an hour. When I finally got the food it was burnt beyond my ability to eat it. This used to be a great place, looks like the new ownership has gone in a different direction. Quality before quantity wins every time

Young ladies red velvet slices are so good and moist, didn’t want to pay $6.50 for a slice, YET IT WAS TRULY WORTH IT!!!! SO GOOD!!!

Had it through a food truck in Augusta. Chicken was very flavorful and she was nice. There was a wait because they didn't have buns for my chicken sandwich but she was nice and it was worth the wait. Price was alright considering it was a food truck at an event

I tried to place an order for pickup and the wait for the restaurant to answer the call was terrible!!! Customer Service needs to be challenged!!!

This is the worse experience I've had I'm from Charleston and just moved this way this definitely wasn't it the employees are unprofessional as he'll I waiting 35 mins for a 3 wing dinner

Jaz N was our waitress/ order taker. At 6:45 pm with a whole row of patient customer- she took the time to offer suggestions and even saved us a little money. The genius is in the back. If there was a James Beard award for fried chicken, it would go to the people who fry the chicken here. Locals know it. We know it. Worth every penny, every time!
The customer service was horrible and the food was not good at all. They did not tell me before placing my order that all of the items that were included with my meal was not available until after the order was in my hand. Which I looked in the bag and had to bring it to their attention. I was giving another black owned business a chance and they failed at all angles. I will not be recommending this establishment to anyone with good sense.

I left GA thirty years ago I was very curious to see if my childhood restaurant was still as good as I recall... It wasn't. The place was frozen in time in a bad way..no remodeling no new construction and half of the menu wasn't available what's worse I bragged how good things used to be and invite a friend. I was quite embarrassed to see what I saw... This place should be closed 🔒 at this point
