I have been a fan of Metro diner for a long time. I’ve even lived down the street from the original Metro diner in Florida and frequented there a lot. This location lacks a lot of the things that the Florida menu has, but I did find consolation with their Ruben. I guess the cook was feeling jazzy one day and decided to spice up the thousand island dressing by putting egg whites that have been boiled and chopped . it sounds weird but was the perfect textural elevation that the dish needed.
I have since been back for the sandwich made the same way and seemingly no one knows what I’m talking about. But the memory shall live on.

Desiree was absolutely incredible. She takes pride in given exemplary service. This place has been somewhat of a staple when it comes to brunch for me and mine, but this last experience was something we truly appreciated.
She let us know about options we hadn't heard in the past, went the extra mile when it comes to guest satisfaction, and she was extremely prompt.

Dietary restrictions: They have a gluten free menu!

Kid-friendliness: Fantastic with kids, whole staff is pretty friendly.

I ordered the steak tips and it was so bad. The steak was hard. The gravy was salty and everything just looked burnt. I've ordered from them before but it has always been a hit or miss. I don't recommend this place.

Decided to take myself for breakfast and glad I chose Metro Diner. This was my first time visiting and will definitely be back. I loved the lemon blueberry waffle.?❤ Only thing missing was vegan sausage. And Danashia provided great service. Can't wait to try the lemon blueberry bread pudding that I got to go.?

Every time I order the meat lovers omelet, I order it with no ham. But when it's delivered to me and I look at it, it has HAM in it. That's has happened to me several times

Perhaps I should have taken a closer look at the item description. But the sheer amount of hollandaise put into breakfast items should not drown the entirety of the dish. I ordered the Meat Lover's Scramble bowl and it had so much Hollandaise that it was swimming in it. Someone needs to revisit the use of hollandaise and how much it ruins a dish when overused. The bacon side was great, the server was friendly and nice. But the food was terrible. Lost my appetite immediately. I don't know why so many restaurants find the need to absolutely drown anything with Hollandaise in the description in the stuff but it's repulsive when overused. Paid full price, not worth it.
