“AMAZING 10/10! I was stopping through Augusta and stumbled upon this food truck at a chevron gas station. The birria taco, chorizo taco, churro cake, Mexican street corn, rice and beans - I ordered a smorgasbord. I spent $22 for lunch and dinner and these are easily the best tacos I’ve ever had. Staff was super friendly, it was cold so they brought the food to my car. I will definitely be back anytime I’m driving through Augusta!“

“The food was average overall—not bad, but I felt the chilaquiles lacked spiciness. I asked for a spicy sauce, but it was about the same. It was also the first time I’ve had chilaquiles served without sour cream, which I had to order separately. The eggs on my plate were also overcooked, which took away from the dish. Another small detail is that there are no coffee refills. On the positive side, the service was outstanding, the place is very clean, and it has a nice atmosphere in a good location. I just felt the food could use a bit more authenticity. Maybe next time I’ll try something different.“

“All the workers should be wearing hair nets. With the open bar service need food temperature check possible. I noticed every one with hair sticking out that could fall in the food. Had we been standing there as our orders were made, I'm positive they would have been more giving in the ingredients. Otherwise, no complaints.“

“If you are in the mood for home cooking, visit Big Mama's. They have a HUGE selection of southern entrees and more importantly, home cooked vegetables everyday (they are closed on Mondays). I have yet to be disappointed when coming in for a to go order. I tried the delivery using DoorDash but it was a disaster so I wouldn't recommend delivery options. When you order to go, you may have to wait about 15 minutes or so, but it is definitely worth the wait to have your food hot and fresh! Definitely a "Sunday's BEST", but also a great go-to when your body craves a home cooked meal!“

“If you're a fan of fast-casual Mexican spots like Qdoba, Chipotle or Freebirds, Diablo's Southwest Grill is a solid pick. I visited their location at 3668 Wheeler Rd (Suite #4) in Augusta and was pleasantly surprised.

I ordered a chicken bowl, which starts with rice and beans and builds up with your choice of meat, veggies, toppings, pico de gallo, and salsa. The flavor was excellent, and the portion size made it a great value.

What really stood out to me was the complimentary chips and salsa that come with your order—something most places have done away with lately. Diablo’s even offers a small salsa bar with three kinds of salsa and lemon wedges for extra flavor.

Service was quick and efficient, with minimal interaction beyond placing your order at the counter. The setup is no-frills: walk in, order, pick up your food, and seat yourself—either inside or at one of the outdoor tables.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend Diablo’s. It’s a budget-friendly, tasty option for a casual lunch or dinner.“

The Diyablos in Evans said no when we asked for unsalted chips . This is the only Diablo’s we go to and Wheeler Rd.“

“My daughter and I came to dine in. We used their kiosk to order our meals for the first time. My 13 year-old daughter made a mistake on her order and ordered no beef, when she wanted beef. I explained our mistake to Rafael, and asked if he could put some beef in the existing chalupa. He was very nice and said he would just give us a new one. He was very friendly and fixed our order, even though it was our fault. On the other hand, another employee (maybe the manager) complained and said that it would mess up her inventory. Very unprofessional of her, but I apologized anyway. I doubt that a small pinch of meat would throw off her inventory that much. Thank you, Rafael, for being so friendly, helpful, and professional!!!“
