Food was excellent, best burger in town The only drawback was no way to chill a bottle of wine I ordered so the bottle got too warm to drink
Last was my first time going. It was a good experience for the most part.Service was a little slow but they just reopened so I understand that. The female bartender wasn't very friendly but she was really busy.Overall it was a good night and I will go back again soon.
The shrimp and grits were out of this world!!! So delicious. My new favorite! Highly recommend!
Sunday brunch on Easter was delicious. The service was awesome also.
First and last time for the Midtown Tavern I'm afraid. Hostess and servers not particularly friendly or attentive. Waited 40 minutes for the starter, “twice cooked wings”? Anything but?! Starter had barely touched the table and BAM! Here's your Tavern burger - touted as “best burger in Augusta!”- NOT! and your steak sandwich. Both main dishes lukewarm at best? Shoestring fries had obviously been cooked way earlier in the evening or most likely the day? Got the key lime(OK) and peanut butter (Bleh!) pies to go thinking we might salvage something out of the evening? Sadly, we were wrong. Loud and chaotic. Really disappointing and not likely to return.
First time there, during Master’s was an experience in itself. Patio seating was the go too. Weather was nice, nice size television to enjoy the tournament while dining. Food was delicious! I tried the Brussel sprouts👌🏾 and the buffalo chicken wings were amazing. Tender with a slight crisp and flavorful. I also had a sandwich (I think Philly. It was 5-6 days ago🤦🏾♀️) it was really good with the pickled onions. Service was great. I will return. And b/c the MAIN reason of me coming was for something else, which wasn’t on the “Master’s menu”
Clean, neat, and uncluttered decor. Nice table and chair seating. It did get pretty loud throughout the whole restaurant.
The staff and service was exceptional for being so busy.
Our group all enjoy our selections of food and drinks. I personally really liked the buttermilk chicken tenders. Highly recommend if you like breaded chicken.
The mixed drinks were high quality and very well constructed.
I recommend trying this place if you haven't already. I believe you'll enjoy yourself. 🤗
Very consistent!
My party consisted of family aged 36 to 80. Everyone raved about the food and all the servers/runners that attended to our needs. First time dinners and the experience was so much fun!

The food was GREAT. We all ordered something different and everyone thought their food was amazing . The only compliant was one person in our party was still waiting for their food 10-15 minutes after we all got our food.
Visited on Valentines Day, so my experience may not be typical. We were initially seated within arms reach of the hostess stand. Felt very awkward with no privacy. We asked to move over when the couple next to us left. Our server didn't speak much. She didn't greet us or ask if we needed anything. When we were finishing up our meal, she just said “you done?”. Seemed very unprofessional. But, Steak frites were good, and my fiancee says the salmon was good!
Nice decor, friendly staff (but could be a little more responsive once the meal has been served). Food & drinks are decent, although limited. Our meal cost half what our typical date night usually is, but it was probably half as good overall, too. Neighborhood is sketchy😬 — I think they'd do better at a different location.
Food and service were excellent. The atmosphere is fabulous. Just the right amount of noise.
I really enjoy coming to this neighborhood gem. It's reasonably priced to enjoy a date night.
