This place has fell off. Before Covid, this place was the best in town. Always took the family once a month. But since covid it hasn’t been the same. Our server was not polite, there was hair in both mine and my wife’s salad. The soup was cold due to ‘ the machine cut off’ they had to retake all the soups back. There where dishes piled up in the middle of the lane before we got there and was still there as we was leaving. The atmosphere was just off. We took a family of 4. We got 2 adult hibachi and 1 kids meal so the kids can share and needed being 120$. Really wasn’t worth it.

I have to say, it wasn’t what it use to be. The food was okay until the roach dropped on our son, our meal was ruined and no leftovers. The waitress informed the manager, who reduced our bill of five meals by $20. I’m floored , because I respected this establishment and now will not be able to eat there again with roaches dropping from the ceiling on your shoulder. This is unacceptable!

I am sitting in the restaurant right now and there are a slew of thing that are wrong. 1) I ordered additional zucchini on top of my entree and the chef completely messed the order up. The chef then proceeded to debate with me about my order and say a mistake wasn’t made when it was. How do I know? Because another customer at our table requested no vegetables and received some (mine). I called the server over and she told me all she could do was to take the price of the zucchini off but that doesn’t solve the problem of what it is I want. I ended up having to request the manager and she rectified the situation. 2) The shrimp was severely undercooked along with all the food being completely under seasoned. The broccoli was damn near still raw. I no longer even want my food with the amount of errors that piled up. This is the worst service I have ever received at this restaurant and I’ve been coming to this one and others in different cities for years. Due to the negligence of the server and the chef, they will not be receiving a tip from me due to me even having to ask for a manager to ask for food I already asked for when the server could have easily handled and rectified my issue. I, nor my family, will be back. It’s a shame that the originator, Miyabi’s, is being outclassed by Miyako’s, a cheaper and tastier alternative. My business and money will be spent there. I truly hope you all train your staff, new or old, on better service. I am a believe that the customer isn’t always right but at least meet the customer half way.
I will also add that the table as dirty, there was still rice from the previous party on the flattop grill, napkins dirty. Just an overall terrible experience. They’ve taken stuff off the menu like lobster and other things but didn’t adjust the prices. Not worth the hype or the money.
Let me also mention, that we had our 2 year old son in a high chair, asked for a plate for him and never received one.

Entertaining chef...made us laugh. However, salad was just iceburg lettuce that was drowning in salad dressing. Main course was 90% rice, 5% vegetables, 2.5% steak, and 2.5% scallops. For the price, you'd expect more meat & veggies! Literally loaded our plates with two "bricks" of fried rice...they make a huge square of rice on the pan, and section it into brick size portions. I was thinking one was plenty, but nope...they give you two! I was not impressed at all. For a couple of people, our bill was almost $100, and they suggest a $20 tip. So, there were 9 of us...mostly couples, and one parent with two boys. Pretty good profit, I'd say! If you're hungry for expensive fried rice, then this is the place for you! Not impressed. All we had to drink was ice water and sweet tea. Such a disappointment....

Excellent food, excellent service... started out with a 30 minute wait, with no reservation. So we got a drink from the bar. Then headed over to the sushi bar, ordered some sushi and calamari, then we were called to the table. The staff was very friendly and brought our sushi rolls to the table for us with a friendly smile! The cook was spectacular! Absolutely no complaints.

Attended a birthday party for 2 adults, one over 30 and one under. There was a party of 11 of us, including children, and everyone had a great time and no crying. However, there was a 30-minute wait, so make sure all attendees are present to be seated .
