Y'all. Y'all. Really. Head there right now. We spent the most enchanted evening with Mr. Peter and Mr. Red. It was a trip down a rabbit hole like no other and my head is still reeling!! 10/10 - no notes. 😍

Great museum and we enjoyed their live theatre performances. Friendly staff as well. Enjoyed talking with Peter the owner.

If you haven’t been yet, stop what you’re doing and GO. We walked in (6 adults, 1 teen) expecting a cute little museum… We left feeling like we survived an adventure, made new imaginary friends, and possibly joined a secret society. The exhibits are wild in the BEST way—half “wow, this is incredible” and half “should I be concerned?” (In the fun, safe, family-friendly way. 😄) The show and drama? 10/10. The comedy? Accidental and intentional. The confusion? Also 10/10, but in a way that makes you feel alive. Every corner has something that makes you point, laugh, or gasp. The staff is hilarious, welcoming, and clearly enjoys watching people react to the madness they curated (and honestly, same). If you’re looking for something unforgettable, unpredictable, and worth every dime (pun intended), Pexco’s Dime Museum is your new obsession. Go. Immediately.

It was wonderful start to finish!!! It was so cool and neat! My son has autism and Mr. Peter the owner was so amazing and patient with him! He made it funny and very interesting even for us adults! Mr. Red was amazing teaching us history about the entertainment industry and how everything got started! It was such a unique and fun experience! My husband and I learned so much that we did not know as well as our son! It was super cool and you feel like you step back in time! It truly is a one of a kind gem! They do an absolutely amazing job there! Please go check them out and support this amazing place!!! ❤️❤️❤️

My boyfriend took me here over the summer for a little surprise date and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It’s hard to believe such a cool place like this exists in Augusta. I meant to write my review sooner! Wonderful, intimate experience with just us two and the owner. Extremely friendly and fascinating man. This is the last operating dime museum in the world so definitely pay it a visit. I can imagine this would be a blast around Halloween 🎃

What a great place. Regardless of age it is a fun and entertaining look at the past. It will give you an insight into human nature that still applies today.. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

So glad we decided to go! This is a one of a kind experience. Peter and the museum are amazing. Felt like I went back in time. The collection is extensive and the experience is a form of entertainment I’ve never known elsewhere. It engages the senses and the mind. Don’t miss this if you have time while in the Augusta area.

We visited the coolest museum ever today—Pexcho’s American Dime Museum—and I cannot recommend it highly enough! It is the last remaining dime museum in the world, and what an experience it was.

Peter (the owner and guide) gave one of the most thought-provoking, informative, and engaging tours I’ve ever had the pleasure of attending. Even my daughter, who doesn’t usually enjoy museums, was captivated!

Peter and Red shared fascinating insights into the history of America’s weird and wonderful—from carnivals and circuses to sideshows and curiosities. If you’re a history buff like me and love podcasts like Lore, Southern Gothic, or Dark History, you’ll recognize so many names, stories, and events woven throughout the tour.

This museum is an absolute gem, and visiting it is like stepping into a living archive of forgotten Americana. Do yourself a favor and take the tour—you won’t regret it!

Experience was put together really well. A museum and a show! What character this place has! Very informative and well rounded. Good for all ages, my teens/pre-teen enjoyed it. Creative and charismatic. Thank you to Mr. P., his family and guest Red.

Believe it or not but it’s worth the trip to find out. It was history, artifacts and great story telling. Everything is so well organized and planned. Great for all ages!
