Roaches. Pho Augusta has been a favorite of mine for years, and I’ve always appreciated the delicious food and great service. However, my most recent visit left me deeply unsettled, and I feel compelled to share my experience.

I brought some friends and their baby for dinner, excited to introduce them to a place I’ve always loved. Unfortunately, as we were being served, two, TWO!!! roaches crawled out from under the booth seat and scurried around. This was not only shocking but also incredibly distressing, especially since we had a baby with us. We immediately alerted the waiter, who came over and killed the roaches, but to our surprise, no further action was taken. Despite the unsettling incident, we were barely offered an apology but not discount, or any reassurance about the restaurant’s cleanliness.

While the food was tasty, the sight of roaches completely soured the meal and left me questioning the cleanliness and overall standards of the restaurant.

I’ve always recommended Pho Augusta, but after this experience, I’m hesitant to return unless I see clear evidence that the issue has been addressed. I hope the management takes immediate action to resolve this, as such incidents are unacceptable in any dining establishment.

Decided to try this place after passing by it many times and seeing the good reviews...seems it's by chance to have a good experience here.

The atmosphere was great on the style but the overall vibe was lacking. Seemed everyone working was miserable and flying by the seat of their pants...slowly, mind you.

Being in the service industry for so long, I'm typically lenient on wait times, service, and such when it's warranted, yet, I found zero excuse for the demeanor of our waiter or the staff around. Our waiter seemed annoyed he even had to deal with us after he and the other server made avoidant glances our way yet put on a super soft spoken facade to ask for our drink order while proceeding to push us to order our food, didn't really wish to answer any questions, and took his time to even bring our drinks...we waited a solid 15 minutes before we were even greeted at the table then another 10 minutes for the drinks. Whole time I'm seeing the same thing happening to tables next to us. Made the worst server I've ever trained or even dealt with look like a solid catch for business...

Food presentation was decent but off-putting service left a sour taste by the end and we couldn't even stomach to finish our meals. I do not recommend this spot for a proper experience by any means. You'll have better service at a fast food chain than here in all honesty.

Did a takeout for spicy beef noodles and summer roll. My fault for not checking before leaving.

Summer roll didn't come with the sauce and my beef noodle came with spagetti noodles. I was too hungry to go back to the restaurant.

So I've been to this place a few times and I've never really been that impressed with the pho but today was different. It was great.

We got chicken salad , cam out with a long black hair in it, the waiter took it back (also manager) didn’t say sorry at all. What a disappointing first and last time here. Do not come here if you don’t want rude and food with hair in it.
