The food itself was pretty decent, but the service at the bar really left a bad impression. The bartender was cold and not personable at all throughout most of our visit. It felt like an afterthought when she tried to be friendlier only as we were leaving. Definitely took away from the overall experience.

The owner continue to take zero responsibility for his employees actions. Instead he much rather bash the customer who was never banned or had an issue with any other bartender besides Lauren. He gas lights and deflects. She was never threatened but accusations like this can definitely be seen as defamation. I will be contacting my attorney and the IRS since he is known for firing people and paying under the table.

The owner enables his bartender to speak to people in any form she wants. When you report to the owner he would much rather ban a paying customer that has had no issues with any other bartender.
Meanwhile he pays everyone under the counter to keep from paying the IRS. I have my recipes so this isn’t speculation.
He is a horrible person with nefarious interactions.

This bar is dope. The service is great and they actively try to remember your name. I’ve been here 4 times and never regret doing it. It’s been great to see the owners revive this once rundown bar known as the rub it in lounge. Excellent name change, great change to the seating, and VERY CLEAN spaces.
