This is the first time I had a bad meal. They really need to take the shrimp and grits off the menu. It was horribly dry, with very over cooked rubbery shrimp. The salad was amazing as always and so was the desert but the main course was awful. No one asked how our meals were and I didn’t complain. When I was a server if I would’ve picked up a plate that looked untouched I would’ve certainly asked if everything was OK. Anyway, lesson learned but it will probably be a while before I go back.

This restaurant has such a warm, neighborhood feel, it’s cozy, welcoming, and always consistent. The food is always delicious, no matter what you order. Every meal is a 10/10, especially the jerk chicken. The service is fast and friendly, and you can tell the management really cares about keeping everything running smoothly. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend!

Food was good. Over 200.00 for 3 people with no alcoholic drinks is a little steep. One appetizer, three entrees and three desserts so, it may be normal now but seems steep to me.

We went as part of a huge family party. While I wasn't expecting a lot this is a place to return to... if you can find it. The jerk chicken sandwich was great and the seafood platter was excellent. There was a lot of excitement for the key lime pie martini and the beer selection was excellent. A superb hidden gem.

Decent lil spot for drinks. Food is a little over priced. The crab meat sandwich with fries came to be about $21.00 and the shrimp plate pictured was $13.00 I added a slice of key lime pie and my total came to $43.94. Notice the very small portion of fries that came with each meal and I only got 6 shrimp. I will visit again but just for the bar which I have yet to try

Should have read the last review. I ordered the trilogy. Themahi-mahi was dry. Tasted as though it had been cooked previously and reheated in the microwave. The coconut shrimp were overcooked, The menu described the pork jerky to be slightly spicy and juicy moist. Well it was neither. It was tasteless. Dry as though it was taken out of the freezer , thrown on the grill, while skipping the marinade step.i am an accomplished cook. Heard great things about Rae’s. Totally disappointed. Mentioned my dissatisfaction to my server, she did bring over the manager who tried to defend the pork, and offered a dessert. I will not dine there again. The only pleasant part of the evening was the key lime martini and fellow companion.

Had not been there for many years and now, after last night, I understand why. I ordered the special crab cakes which had little filler but never reached my expectations of flavor, a far cry from Maryland style. Salis and she crab soup were both very good but doesn't make up for the less than average main course. the most annoying part of the mal was the service. Our waitress continued to bring the next courses without clearing any of the dishes from the prior. A bad server can distroy your experience
