A very cozy place to have a fabulous conversation in a small group. The server (and I cant remember to spell her name) was deslightful and attentive and the manager stopped to greet when we are leaving. My friend had scallops which I tasted and they were excellent and I should have stayed with the Sea food. I made the mistake of having an overpriced steak which at best was awful. My friend Sid had a piece and was disappointed that he recommended this place. We will go back again...
After we finally found the place, it was very pleasant. We had a very nice conversation with Shadrick Clay and enjoyed the hospitality and history that he shared with us. The food was good but lacked a bit of true Caribbean spicy spices But we understood that some people can’t handle the heat.
This is the first time I had a bad meal. They really need to take the shrimp and grits off the menu. It was horribly dry, with very over cooked rubbery shrimp. The salad was amazing as always and so was the desert but the main course was awful. No one asked how our meals were and I didn’t complain. When I was a server if I would’ve picked up a plate that looked untouched I would’ve certainly asked if everything was OK. Anyway, lesson learned but it will probably be a while...
