Surcheros Fresh Mex

I love surcheros. My first time trying them was in Brunswick Ga. I was excited to find that Augusta had one. The only thing I don’t like about the Augusta location is the staff fixing the orders don’t change their gloves often after touching equipment AND picking up ingredients with their barehands (with the same gloves) instead of changing gloves and using serving spoons to fix customers food. Never know if a customer is allergic to a particular ingredient that the staff just picked for another customers meal while using the same gloves instead of spoons. If they leave the line to go to the back to get whatever they are looking for, they don’t switch gloves after leaving sight of the customer. The staff is super nice. Just not too aware of contamination of others food and equipment. I don’t even use my hands to pick up beans and serve dinner at home 😬

First and foremost the customer service here is trash. The lady refused to help me when I called the first time because she was short staffed. That’s not my problem. I ordered my meal through the suchurros app and the order didn’t get picked up until 2 hours later. I call the restaurant and asked if they could at least remake it so that it was hot and fresh and she refused because she said it wasn’t her fault the delivery driver was late. Will NOT be eating here again!

Workers are trying to put everything up an hour before closing and catching an attitude about serving us , they literally had all the toppings covered up, I want to see what my options are !!

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!! the staff is all new and I'm not sure they know what they are doing. the food was made wrong management was no help. the environment wasn't friendly at all. the price of the food is not worth it. diablos barburritos and chipotle are way better!!!!!! 0 stars for surcheros I'm disappointed in y'all do better!!!! I had friends tell me not to come here but we did anyways then I had to apologize to my family cause it was awful!!!!!!! the old staff was entirely better and the old manager Justin was excellent! so sad to see this place go downhill.

Absolutely filthy, food and trash all over the place. Bowls of ingredients all mixed together. Salsa bar looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in about a week

My family has been coming here religiously for a few months now. When we first found it, everything was great! I would have given 5 stars across the board. Fast forward to present time and they have had staffing change. This was the worst thing to happen to this place.
I have had to dump my "burrito" onto my tray and turn it into nachos. For what we pay for these entries, you would think it would be better presented. You can tell the ladies working the line KNOW they can't roll anything. Since the staffing change, I'm always rushed to the register after the last station (because they don't want you to see what a terrible job they're about to do).
Camille is the only lady on staff worth her pay! My most honest piece of advice: if you see more ladies than men on staff, leave. And this is coming from female.

Completely wrong burrito. I think they used the ingredients that were on my wife's bowl to also make mine. Whoopsie. Wife liked her bowl though.

Customer service could be better. I placed a pick up order. Things were left out. It's so frustrating to receive lower quality and service in times when we're paying more.

This is my second visit to Surcheros, and I was reminded of just how pricey it can be. I took three of my children for lunch and ended up spending almost $60 for 2 kids' meals, a veggie bowl, a burrito, and 2 drinks. While the food was good and the atmosphere pleasant, the cost felt a bit excessive for what we received. The service was decent, though I was mischarged for a loaded bowl instead of the veggie bowl I ordered. Overall, while the meal itself was fine, I found the price point a bit steep for a casual lunch with two kids under 10 and two adult meals.

I ordered delivery from Surcheros this evening. I convinced my family to eat here instead of Chipotle because I have had awesome experiences since I tried it. One word. Disappointed. I ordered extra portion of steak and there was barely a normal serving in the plate. All the toppings were meager…even in the adult size veggie burrito I ordered!! How can there be such a difference in consistent food experience in store and delivery. My family was over it. All I could do was apologize. I gurus Chipotle will win next time we have to eat in. The delivery driver was nice though!
