Really bad, very expensive and they give you really small and unflavored tacos, just don’t go there

Meh... Either you are a fast food chain or a restaurant. If you are a fast food chain, you don't ask for tips when ordering. If you are a restaurant, chips and salsa are free. That's part of being a Mexican restaurant. You can't be both and succeed. Tough luck for the franchisee I guess.
The food was OK. The service could be better. Paying six dollars for chips and salsa is unacceptable. Charging a credit card fee is unacceptable.
My original rating was higher, but now that I think about it, it doesn't deserve two stars.
No thanks, I won't be back.

The food was clean and quickly prepared. Expected a bit more flavor with the food. Restaurant is clean and cozy, friendly vibes.

The food taste is good, the portions are very small for the price and everything is priced separately! I ordered nachos with beans, it did not come with pico, lettuce, and had to ask for extra cheese sauce! 1 meal can easily cost you $20 without a drink! Read the menu before placing an order! Place was kept very clean and a robot actually serves you which was cool!

Food is always good. I typically order online and pick up to go.
The reason for 4 stars is due to conflicting information. For example today 8/24/25 I ordered my food and decided I wanted the half gallon of horchata that is show online, when I got to the counter the guy behind the counter said they don’t sell half gallon horchata. If it’s available to be purchased online why is it not available at the counter?

Clean facilities and friendly staff. Toppings were well portioned on the fries. Birria is delicious, would love some more spice in it but that's what their salsas are for. Agua de jamaica is not too sweet which keeps it refreshing.

The food at Taco Madre is good, but keep in mind that everything is priced separately. By the time you add chips, salsa, tacos, and a drink, you’re easily over $20. Each taco is on the smaller side and costs between $4–$6, so three tacos, chips, and a drink will run about $25. On the bright side, they do have a cool robot that delivers your food to the table, which is a fun touch.

Had the carnitas fries and 3 chicken tacos with cilantro, onions and lime. The tacos are surprisingly filling for how small they are and taste great just that the chickens texture was a bit off. The carnitas fries were messy but delicious and is super easy if you can’t finish it as it’s served in a container ready for takeout. The jaritos were chilled well and were very refreshing as they can be a bit hard to find nearby sometimes. Overall solid food just a bit pricey depending on what you order.

Our first time trying this place out, and it wasn't bad at all. It was pretty good. The place was nice and big and very clean. The service was great too. W took our food to go and ate at home. My nachos unfortunately had some stale and hard chips. It hurt my mouth to chew. The flavor was good though. My husband liked his quesadillas with carnitas. My daughter had the kids quesadillas with carnitas too and they were the tiniest quesadillas that I've ever seen. In other places I've gotten bigger quesadillas in a kids menu. Overall it was nice.

Food was great . The place looked run down
Food lacked flavor, over priced, and slow. Kids meal tiny taco (soft, they don't have hard shell) cost $9. Order fries, only good thing on menu.

I absolutely loved the quesabirria tacos and consomé — hands down some of the best birria I've had in a long time. The consomé was so flavorful it deserves to be sold by the quart! The chips and salsa were another standout; the corn they use reminded me of home, and both salsas were delicious — spicy but still totally enjoyable. We also tried the carnitas and steak, and both were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. This place is definitely worth a visit if you’re craving authentic Mexican food done right.

The register person was so quiet & inattentive that I had to make them repeat themselves numerous times. Both them and the kitchen got the order wrong & was unwilling to refund the order & seemed a dramatic effort for them to simply get the order right for it then to be rather mediocre. Went to try the vegan chorizo, only to be given pork. Won't be going back.
