Server was amazing! Wanted to take my love to taco sushi figured I would take her to the first location that is really nice! Well it really went south. The manager set at the bar talking crap well the young waitress just ran around doing to much. The restaurant was discussing, the bathroom had pee all over it and the lady at 9:30 says wrap it up well we sit waiting for our food since 9:00 as we were the only once’s here. The previous couple had just left at about 9:15. Our very kind waitress just runs around trying to collect everything for closing well the manager did nothing but sit at the bar.. and talk crap and hang with some man. very shitty experience..
the men preparing the food also were very well organized and ignored the stuff being said and got our food done. This manager truly is letting this place go down hill tables, floor, bathrooms, the table lights all dirty. The menus given were covered in sause..

Food was great 9/10…Service from our server 1/10! She took our drink order…15 mins later came to take our food order. Server never asked did we need anything else the entire time we were there (Other server servicing next two tables to us asked her table would they like extra sauce on the side and she had other suggestions). Our server served our food and that was it. Once another party came in their order was immediately taken by our server. When it was time for the check we had to ask for a to go container twice because she was to busy catering to another table. The restaurant was not packed at all so that can’t be an excuse. This was the first time coming to establishment. Will go again only if we have a different server.

I love Takosushi so much. I’ve been eating at this location since 2011. I no longer live in the area, I now live in New York and every trip home I make sure I plan at least one trip to Takosushi. I went yesterday and my heart was so happy!

I came in to pick up my to-go, it took nearly 30 minutes for my order, my sushi roll that was on the order was already ready when I arrived, sitting on the bar. What took 20+ minutes was waiting for the bartender to make my to-go sprite, on a slow Wednesday. The saddest part wasn’t my story though, the entire time I was waiting the most polite couple walked in and we began chatting while they waited for a table, they were not spoken to by ANYONE the entire 20+ minutes they stood there next to me. No one said a word to them or acknowledged them, they finally politely turned to me and told me they were leaving and “I guess they don’t want us here” THAT is how tako’s staff makes their customers feel. There were two other tables there, not busy at all just terrible service from the bartender to the other front of house members. Sad to see all the other 1 stars as well, more than I can count recently. I hope they really change things up soon, their food has been subpar for years but it seems they gave up on the service as well.

Don’t where to start. Manager talking about money/sales in front of customers. A server cursing at the sushi chefs next to me. Absolutely disgusting customer service. Never coming back again

It took an hour to get our food, and when we spoke up, the manager was not apologetic at all. She just said “we are short staffed, love” over and over. We saw our salads were ready for ten minutes before we got them, and we had to speak up to prompt our server to deliver them. People who sat down after us got their food before us and were long gone before we ever got our food. We ended up having to take everything to go because we didn’t have enough time to wait any longer since it had already been an hour. It’s so unfortunate because we’ve been coming here for years and years since it opened. Have recommended this place countless times over the years. They didn’t even give us a discount for the inconvenience. After the thousands of dollars we’ve spent here, it’s pretty insulting. Really hoping for new management or a radical change. Otherwise, think we’re better off taking our business elsewhere. :(

This place used to be really good. I remember back in 2016-2018 coming a bunch and loving it. It’s no longer good. The sushi rice doesn’t taste good, the fish is cut in a way that makes eating it feel gross, and just the overall quality has gone way downhill.

We visited mid October for early dinner.
We were sited promptly and were told by the waitress someone would be right with us.
We waited, and waited, and waited. The table next to us was being served, by the person that sat us. After 10 mins, we started to look around and nothing.
When they finally came it was the same waitress that sat us. I don't know if it was an honest mistake or she just didn't want to serve us.
We order the fried calamari (witch was delicious) and 3 sushi rolls that were very disappointing. They lack flavor.
I usually don't care about the service when the food is good. But the whole experience was not good.

This place came highly recommended to me and my wife, unfortunately I don’t think we’ll be back, and I recommend you refrain as well.
The sushi itself was so bland, and I don’t think I’ve ever had flavorless fish. It was like chewing flavorless flesh. Unfortunately, one of the flavors I did taste was the tuna nigiri. It had an off fishy taste which made me gag. The salmon was almost like the prepackaged smoked salmon from the grocery store, and there was a bone in one of my pieces of sashimi.
This is not the place for real sushi. I can’t speak about the other food. There was a guy right by me who ordered a burger which looked okay. Perhaps he knew not to order the sushi.

My mobile order was given to someone else mistakenly so I had the pleasure of watching them prepare the food. The toquitos, edamame and a few other things are straight out the microwave. Lesson learned. Sushi was pretty good though

Took my daughter for her Birthday. We sat outside and that was a fun touch. Limited tables, 4 I do believe. But was glad to snag one. Sushi was just OKAY, nothing amazing. I haven't been here before, so thought we would try it. Our usual sushi places unfortunately have odd hours, and TakoSushi was open, so we decided to go there. I will wait next time for the others to open, $60 dollars later, we left hungry and honestly just not fulfilled. Definitely disappointed, but I was excited to try a new place. Service was good, and server was very nice.

Me and a friend, whom tips exceptionally well, went yesterday for lunch . We ordered the shrimp nachos and when receiving the appetizer there were none of the condiments and sides that came with it. The server said it was a typo on the menu. We asked how long it has been a typo and said didn’t know. He said I can add the toppings that were on the menu as advertised with additional fees. We left and we were flabbergasted because it was the second restaurant that day that gave us horrible attitude and service. He proceeded to say that we were the problem. Never again will you get our business and support.
