If you are looking for a great staff and some good sushi; TakoSushi. It's the best that I have had here in Augusta so far. I had the Stoney's Roll, Miso soup, the Pineapple Jalepeno margarita and the Red Chile Margarita. Everything came out good to go.

We ordered an unforgettable roll, volcano roll, two orders of the steak tacos and the tempura asparagus. With that being said, the steak tacos were awful. The steak was significantly overcooked, flavorless and could have been confused with dirt. We were so disappointed by that especially since we had two orders of them. Do NOT get the tacos from here it’s not worth it.

I placed a simple pickup order. Was given the wrong order. Returned for the order and found out that the corrected order had no wasabi or ginger. (Only checked that it had correct sushi, not condiments.) disappointing.

I placed a take out order on Friday for some rolls. I realized one of my rolls was made incorrectly after getting home. That's on me for not checking before I left, but no one was going to eat it. The bartender (black guy, tall, curly hair) was very friendly from start to finish. From when I placed my order, to pick up, and when I had to call back. He specifically told them the adjustments to make on the rolls because it was on my receipt. Unfortunately the cooks did not follow that. Still the bartender was very understanding and quickly offered solutions that would work for me when I called back. Not to many places offer that kind of customer service anymore and it was just refreshing. The other rolls we were able to eat and they were delicious!

They simply do not miss! The Surrey Center location is by far my favorite. My fiancé and I have to indulge here at least once a month. If we don't, the cravings run STRONG! The service is great. We like to eat at the bar to watch them make the rolls, and when you see something you like, you can ask them what it is! We always have to get the tempura asparagus to share, and our favorite is the Jesse Roll. The Ika Sansai is a great option to add to one roll instead of getting two; saves a little money and it's so refreshing! The Tako Lemon Drop is DELICIOUS!

I have ordered from Takosushi through doordash multiple times and almost every time, something is missing from my order. Sometimes it is an entire meal. Other times it is an ingredient that makes the meal pointless. (for example, toppings for the nachos so you get just a container of chips) I really wish they would figure out how to check to-go orders before they go out because we love the food when we get all of it.

Surrey Center location is tiny, but they have a few outside tables. Even on a Monday, the sushi tasted fresh. Hasn't always been that way at the Evans location. But they both have alot of great choices, like the chicken chorizo taco, edemame, & chicken stir fry. We go there frequently and the service never disappoints, especially at the Evans location. Protip: rolls are even better with soy than seaweed!
