You want to talk about a cool place and the coolest location, check out bees knees !! They are not only a cute coffee shop with craft drinks as well but serve as a thrift shop as well in the back having old vinyls and clothes! Then you sit out on the side walk or up in the windows like a model on display and can gaze across the street at the pottery store making coffee mugs by hand! Such a great stop on our way back home. Can't wait to go back to try some of their food options!

Very helpful staff!! They break down everything and are very knowledgeable. Such a laid back and calm atmosphere. The tofu bacon and Just Eggs on the Beckon was so good, we had it in the wrap. Will be back!

This place has such a cute, rustic vibe and amazing vegan options that don't compromise on taste (speaking as an omnivore)! I don't come here very often, but when I do, I tend to order a cortado with or without a pastry. I am so grateful that they introduced me to the beauty that is Haute Doughnuts, ever since they started carrying their stock recently. They also started selling Delta-8, which is... an interesting choice, but definitely a wise business decision. Get your THC and munchie snacks at your one stop shop. This last time that I went, I got the old-fashioned blueberry glazed donut (pictures of other food are those of my friends that I didn't get to try) and a cortado with lavender flavoring. All of it was decadent. The donut didn't feel dense, even though it was a cake donut. It actually had a crumbly texture, and the blueberry glaze was amazing! The lavender flavoring of the cortado was subtle but enjoyable. All my friends go nuts for this place, and for good reason. Definitely a top place to stop by if you're in Augusta!

I wasn’t at all convinced I would enjoy it. The food looked at bit odd, to be honest. They made me eat those words, and every bite of what I ordered! It was AMAZING. The flavors were outstanding. We had a huge party of people and everyone was impressed. I can’t believe how good the food was. I can’t wait to go back.

Cute little coffee/brunch place. Love to catch up with friends here. I always end up getting Totoro's Toast as one of the dishes and it's always so delicious and unique. I've also tried the Back of House which was good as well. As for the coffee, I've tried the Bee's Knees, Cowboy Bebop, and Nut Another Cappuccino. Of the three, I liked Bee's Knees the most. Couldn't really taste the espresso in Cowboy Bebop - it just tasted mostly like hojicha matcha. The toasted chesnut flavor is barely there in Nut Another Cappucino, and I wouldn't recommend the oat milk as it seems to mess up the flavor a bit. Overall, their coffee seems to be on the lighter side. I like the uniqueness of their signature drinks and I'm excited to try the rest. Definitely one of my go-to brunch/coffee spots!

I am always in search of a good cafe. The staff helped me out with a wonderful recommendation and even checked if I wanted additional flavor before I left. The in house art gallery is a plus. Will return soon

Sister place to The Hive, Excellent food. Would return and am happy to hear employees treated well there. Food selected and prepared with care.

Excellent place of your vegan, we went back the next day to get more pastries. There made in house every morning and taste like it. Super cool place to find a vegan meal/breakfast.

The best place in Augusta to have coffee, study, and even play board games -- they have some board games in the attached part of the cafe to the right. I put in hours of studying here and miss it every few days.

All the food is vegan, I believe and pretty tasty. It is also a little shop that you can purchase buttons and plants. Very homey, boho and hipster feel. Comfortable to do some computer work from your laptop and has outside seating area. Cute place to have brunch with visiting friends who are Vegan, but if that's not your thing, you may not enjoy the tofu options. A bit pricey but expected.

I would give it a five but we only had two of the entrées and they were super! We were in Augusta doing some business and wanted to check out a meatless café. I was a vegetarian for 10 years and my take on meatless dishes is this: they have to have lots of flavor and be spicy. The two entrées we tasted checked both of those boxes. I absolutely love the Mastermind! I got mine on top of the Creole hash. The dish was a creamy blend of vegan pimento cheese sauce, carmalized onions, and tofu bacon on top of fried potatoes. The only criticism I have is this: add some more cherry tomatoes. You really need that fresh tomato to cut the richness of the sauce. I honestly could've licked the dish! I also tasted my wife's cauliflower burrito. Cauliflower steak, cilantro pesto, creamy aioli! Mmmm...good stuff!

My family didn't come out to Downtown Augusta with a particular idea on where to eat, but I'm sure glad we ended up eating brunch at Bee's Knees. The service was fantastic- our cashier was super helpful and explained the menu options and store. I ended up getting the shakshuka in a bowl and my wife got grits. Both items came out in about 10-15 minutes. My shakshuka was great. My wife loved her grits too. Our baby was a fan of the grits so plus .5 stars. We didn't get to try any drinks but they looked amazing.

This so far is my favorite cafe in the area. I don't know any other place locally that has kombucha on tap. They have a variety of food options for a conscious eater like me who tries to stay away from gluten and dairy as much as possible. The place is subtly quirky with their vintage clothing store in the back seating area and Studio Ghibli appreciation like their menu item, Totoro's toast. I like going for a calm place to enjoy tea with a friend, but I also enjoy going for the day where they have live music.

Since it's reopened, the Bees Knees has surprised me! It's wonderful and just what Augusta needed. It's now a healthy brunch spot with vegan options and vegan treats, including Haute Donuts. And a great coffee/espresso/tea cafe with even uniquely brewed iced coffee. The space is so open with their large windows and sunshine & their plants add even more sparkle! I love dropping by for a matcha latte or a quick coffee

I've maybe been here like 3-4 times since my last review and I have grown to love this place. Their food always is so good and definitely feels healthier than a lot of other places and their drinks are always so good. I love their Back of the House and Shakshuka - both on a hashbowl! Their hours are also the best for studying for a long period of time compared to other cafes in the area.
