I was really excited to try this restaurant and was super disappointed. The prices were so high that I thought the food would be better. We got the lobster bisque which was pretty good but it only came with two crackers and if you wanted more then you would need to pay pretty heavily (for crackers) for more. The service was good. Our server was polite and attentive. My real disappointment though was the shrimp and grits. It was over 18.00 so I was hoping that it would be delicious. I have had this dish before many times and I think that the menu described the dish the way I expected it to be served with toppings of onions, and bell peppers, and ham/ bacon. When it came however it was literally just the most plain grits I have ever eaten, 5 shrimp, cheese and some creole seasoning. The only thing that saved the food for me was that they had drowned my husband’s pasta so deep in sauce that I was able to borrow 4 or 5 spoons of it to put on the grits. I was really expecting more for an almost 20.00 dish and it really was a disappointment for the build up that I have gotten from the reviews. Everything else we had was fine but again the prices didn’t really match the quality that I was expecting. I hope that this is helpful to someone else who may be expecting what it describes on the menu and maybe prevent someone else from spending almost 20 bucks on a bowl of .50 grits and 5.00 with of shrimp. With .5 of cheese over it. We skipped getting a cake which if you buy it in the restaurant is approximately 80+ dollars. We may come back to the bakery for one of those just to try it because all of the reviews mention the cake but I would not be back for the shrimp and grits.Parking: Parking was a little difficult to find and is sort of down a small alley behind the restaurant. The other parking around the restaurant was for the Marriott and had signs everywhere that you could be towed. The road into the parking lot can be accessed by driving to the front of the restaurant and turning into the alley just before the restaurant building but be careful we almost got hit when we turned into the parking lot because it is very narrow.Kid-friendliness: It was kid friendly and it was cheaper to buy a sandwich and split it between two kids than to buy off of the kids menu so that may be an option if you have more than one or two kids. That option gives you a lot of food for them to share.

We came in for brunch and Victoria was absolutely amazing! It is so hard to find someone that loves to serve anymore but Victoria showed that she absolutely loves what she does. Thanks so much for being such a delight.

Cute little local restaurant, fantastic sandwiches and soups, even some tasty drinks...but what you really go here for is the dessert! A "slice" of their cake will last you several servings - even if you manage to limit yourself to just one of their many delicious flavors!

My children and I stopped in for lunch and of course a slice of cake. We enjoyed the full size nachos. They were so delicious and the velvet delight, the strawberry and the hummingbird cake. Our server Kayden was so polite and helpful. The atmosphere was great as well, just a little too cold, Other than that no complaints.

One of the best pleasant surprises ever. We got the black bean burger and nachos, and it was worth every single bite and penny. Their cakes are to die for, and the lady let us have a sample each to try. The service was fast and the vibe was regency. Loved, loved, loved it.Parking: Parking in the back.Wheelchair accessibility: There is the parking in the back with wheelchair entrance.

Excellent place to get a fine meal off the river. If you have room for dessert, be advised that the slice of cake is huge.

Loved this place in town and meal! Being from Mississippi, this was a great representation of what Augusta has to offer. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon after enjoying a great church service at Victory Baptist Church in North Augusta (also recommend.)

We were here yesterday and at first, things seemed to be going well. My husband got the Salmon and it was full of flavor. I got the Jerk sandwich with pasta. As I was swallowing, my tongue hit something that felt weird and I realized it was a wad of weave. It got stuck between my tonsils and I wasn’t able to get it out. The other half of my sandwich also had weave all in it and at that point, there’s no way it got there on an accident. I’m not sure what the deal was as we got seated by the hostess and didn’t give anyone any issues, but if your hair is falling out THAT much, you don’t need to be working in the kitchen. If someone put it in there on purpose, you’re disgusting and there’s a special place in hell for you. Also, where were the hairnets? Surely it would have prevented that. They did comp our meal, which we were thankful for, but we will never go back.

I had the Reuben. Hubby had the roast beef with fried green tomato. Mine was solid. His was absolutely delicious. The lemon cake was moist and flavorful. The live music was wonderful too. Lady had the voice of an angel.Parking: There was limited space in the parking lot behind it, but there was a field to the side to park in as well.
