The Country Shack 2 is one of those rare spots where every bite feels like home but tastes like heaven. The passion fruit juice? Addictive. I’m talking can’t-stop-thinking-about-it addictive. The peach cobbler—extra peaches, obviously—is the definition of comfort done right: sweet, buttery, and just enough crunch to make you close your eyes and hum. And those collard greens… listen, I don’t know who’s back there seasoning with their soul, but they deserve a medal....
Best soul food spot in Augusta, hands-down. Easily the best collard greens I’ve ever eaten in my life; not even close. They change up the menu daily with all sorts of outstanding staples. Friendly staff, quick service, large portions. Can’t be beat!
