Roman and Adrian make the most amazing cocktails. The bar can go from quiet and peaceful to loud and busy very easily, but the outdoor seating and upstairs area remedy that issue.

If you appreciate artisan crafted cocktails, this is the place for you.

They don’t accept valid forms of ID from 25+ medical and graduate students, and are VERY rude when doing so. The times they have chosen to allow valid ID’s to enter, the drinks have been extremely overpriced and not that great. I wouldn’t waste your time.

Went last night with four of my friends (for context: all of us are 25). We were let in by the bouncer, but when we approached the bar to order drinks the bartender ALSO asked for our IDs (nothing like being ID’d multiple times to make you feel right at home!). He then proceeded to tell us that he couldn’t serve us and that we had to leave, even though we all had valid, non-expired driver’s licenses “because they’re vertical, not horizontal.” He pointed to the “under 21” denotation on my ID as his reasoning— clearly unaware that this means that AT THE TIME I WAS ISSUED MY ID I was under 21, not that someone born in 1999 has somehow defied the laws of space and time to be under 21 in the year 2025. Hopefully the owner (who clearly thinks himself a lawyer, looking at his replies to other 1-star reviews) takes 5 minutes to actually review Georgia law, and invests a bit of money in teaching his bartenders basic arithmetic to calculate patrons’ ages.

We stopped by Indian Queen in Augusta and had an absolutely fantastic experience. Roman, the bartender, was a standout and he clearly loves his craft and knows his stuff. He recommended two drinks that hit the mark perfectly. What really made the visit special, though, was how much time he took to chat with us. From cocktail talk, awesome bands and local food spots. He gave us a great recommendation for a sushi restaurant called Fukuro which we'll definitely be checking that out soon.

The rest of the staff was just as welcoming and friendly. You can tell they genuinely care about creating a great atmosphere. Speaking of which, the ambience here is top-tier and hands down one of the best environments in Augusta. Whether you're grabbing a casual drink or looking to kick back in a cozy, curated setting, this place delivers.

Highly recommend. We'll definitely be back. Shout out to the bartender Roman

What a nice gathering place! I've lived here for a minute and never been. Our friend suggested meeting here. The atmosphere is very relaxing. My Old Fashioned x2 were delicious. The drink prices are awesome. The bartender was wonderful.

Absolutely absurd experience at Indian Queen. The bartender asked for IDs — no issue there — but refused to accept my husband’s valid, non-expired vertical ID. He then proceeded to ask if we had another form and luckily we did. My husband had recently gone to the DMV and received a new ID because his picture was outdated. The bartender refused the official paper copy from the DMV showing his updated horizontal ID because it “wasn’t printed in color.” Seriously?

My husband said okay and stepped away from the bar to stand near the lounge area. The girls continued to order, but even then we were ignored for several minutes before the bartender finally said, “I’ll be right with y’all,” only to come back later and STILL refuse to serve any of us. We all had showed forms of ID clearly showing we are 26 and 27, and he wouldn’t serve us unless my husband left the building entirely.

As locals, we try to support Augusta businesses, but this was ridiculous. The bartender was rude, dismissive, and completely unreasonable. We have all been bartenders at some point in our life and I understand there are rules in place for a reason, but this was so unnecessary.

I typically love coming here and supporting local. I’m from Augusta (for context we are 27) and this is always my go to spot when friends visit but tonight we came and our friend had a vertical ID (not expired) but also ordered a new ID recently and had a paper ID as well. They would not accept that either. So he stepped back to let the girls order but the bartender still wouldn’t serve us. Our friend was ok without a beverage while we had one, but we weren’t able to get one so a waste of time and a loss of business. Loss loss unfortunately

If you're looking for great location to hang out with friends and grab drink, check out Indian Queen. They have a great bar menu but of course you always ask the bartenders for recommend or to make your drink of choice - this generally what we do. There is a plethora of seating - indoor/outdoor and upstairs area. Definitely a spot I would recommend checking out if you are in the local area.
