Had a sandwich there after the rebrand and it was fine. But RIP to the bowls - they'll be sorely missed! My friends got some salads, but the lettuce was browned on the edges because of it being wilted. Hopefully that's something they'll correct soon. The atmosphere is still great, though it was odd that the staff had to sweep under our feet when the rest of the restaurant was empty. Was just weird they couldn't wait until we'd left, but guess it's good they're focused on keeping the place clean. Also - less vegan options than before, just in case anyone is looking for that!

Used to love this place and it's fresh ingredients and vegan options. Now that they've rebranded, they removed the smoothies and reduced the amount of vegetables available for the salads. The quality of the vegetables also has reduced to grocery store quality.

I am so sad. I don’t know what happened but the new food menu is nothing unique or tasty. This was once such an amazing staple downtown for unique fresh ingredients and the “Southern Salad” and pickled watermelon was amazing.

EDIT: in response to the owner. I'm not going to your social media to order food...?. Also you're lying because Google showed you as open, only stating the same thing it does on every holiday by default which is "office hours my vary", and your answering machine for the business was a generic voice recording stating you weren't available... Not closed. Also multiple people reported the same thing.
Do better than lying to potential customers. Think we'll permanently avoid your business from now on when setting up lunches. Says a lot that you'd come on here to try and shame someone instead of just doing better. ?
Web site says available, they're in fact closed... I know because after having trouble with the website which kept wanting things to be delivered to me but I wanted to pickup myself, and then the answering machine telling me they're not available and to leave a message...I just drove over and that's how I found out their isn't a soul inside. You should probably update your answering machine and website if you're going to be closed on during normal business hours. ??

We LOVE SoSal! It’s our favorite lunch spot. Everything is always so fresh and there is no shortage of vegan and vegetarian options. The service is friendly and speedy even when they’re busy. The ambiance is bright and spacious and my stomach always feels happy after eating here!

it was me and bf first time in there and we loved it! it’s the best damn salads for college athletes to eat and not feel heavy. i could eat this everyday if i wanted too and still feel full! this place was really cool! staff was very nice and encourages us to try anything ! best money we spend!
Awesome place to eat. The food is fresh and varied. Lots to choose from. Perfect for vegetarians and vegans. The folks here are very friendly. Extra parking in the rear off Ellis Street.
