Placed order for pickup. This is a standard I place often. Asked to substitute extra teriyaki sauce for salad. Was told that was ok. Asked for no mushrooms. Was told that was ok. When I went to pickup my order the same person that took it, took my payment & delivered my food. After paying (including a tip) I opened the bag to ensure everything was present. I found there was only one tiny container of teriyaki, no extra as requested & no salad. When I asked for the extra I was told there would be an additional $1 charge because the soup & salad were complimentary. She asked how many I wanted, I requested 4 (because the containers were significantly smaller than what I am used to receiving) she came back with 3. When I reminded her that I requested 4 she said that I’d already got 1 with my meal. I replied that when I placed the order I was told it was ok to substitute the salad for extra. She remained adamant & condescending that I would not be given more. Throughout our conversation the woman was so rude that I asked to speak to the manager. She said that she was the manager. When I asked to speak to the owner then, she said he wasn’t there & she didn’t know when he would be. When I went to eat my food I discovered that there were mushrooms in it despite my request & her acknowledgment that they would not be. Dining at this location whether in person or carry out used to be a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, experiences like this have become more frequent over the last year. Hopefully these issues will be addressed so I don’t have to take my business elsewhere going forward.

It's not the greatest but it is far from the worst, a decent plate that never lets me down. Huge portions make the pricing reasonable, you can easily eat and eat again on one hibachi plate. Warm service, I've never had bad service her and I think here name is Ann, some fella need to get in there and propose that woman is gorgeous 😍.

Everytime I order over the phone for a pickup order I always make it very clear that I want ranch in my order and yet everytime I pick it up there is no ranch… it’s been too many times now

To be honest, I was not impressed. They had many options for sushi that sounded like they could be really good, I got 2 different kinds. Both were very subpar. I feel like its either how its prepared or the quality or most likely both. I even got the mizo soup, and that wasn't even good quality 😅. I should have know from the start but I tried it anyway. Also its definitely not worth the price you pay.

Very large portions, especially for the price. Food was great. Dining area is a little tight but so are so many other places. Definitely recommend.

It’s a hit or miss service and food wise. Lunch specials is best, restaurant could use a makeover and I always ask for Kelsey when dinning in.

June
The food here really is hit and miss and it absolutely depends on the cook. Whoever the cook was for today (June 28) at around 3 pm is one of the best ones. My steak and veggies were perfectly cooked. I like my steak med rare and it was so tender and juicy. I don't know who was in charge of the sushi, but my husband raved about the salmon avocado roll. He said it was the best he ever had there. I wish I knew who the good cooks are so I can only go when they're handling the food. The hostess who handled my order double checked everything and was so friendly. Great experience all around.

We've been to Toki a lot over the years. I generally really enjoy the food although it isn't always consistent. Sometimes you'll get a cook that clearly knows what he's doing and sometimes it's not as good. I usually order the ribeye hibachi med rare. I've gotten the regular steak hibachi before because it's cheaper. Even when it's cooked properly, the steak is thinner than the hibachi which is usually tender. I would bet that the food I got is the regular steak hibachi. This has no fat, it's very thin, it's super overcooked, and it is dry and unappetizing. So disappointing. I shouldn't have to be $17 super dry hibachi.

Food was great they give you plenty of it. The waitress was super sweet she did a great job taking care of me and my family at the nephew's graduation party. Highly recommend anything on the menu to Cooks are very experienced in handling that ethnic food group. What a great team in in the restaurant.keep up the good work.
