Top Dawg Tavern - Augusta

Stopped by to watch some football before heading to the airport. We wanted tailgating food, so we ordered lots of appetizers. The food was tasty, and the temperature was appropriate. There were plenty of games to choose from as far as football to watch. And our waitress was very sweet.

We walked into this restaurant today around lunchtime. The floor was sticky and dirty to the point our shoes were sticking, the outside area tables were disgusting, the outside area had trash, spider webs, and crap everywhere especially under the tables. The menus were sticky. No one came to our table to get our order even after we were staring at servers leaning on the bar talking away so we got up and left. We won’t return to this restaurant. No one wants to eat at a place that’s dirty before you even order food.

I had a great time at Top Dawg Tavern. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and Friday trivia night was a blast. Dr Frankenstein put together some fun questions for trivia, the staff were very friendly and attentive even with the large crowd. Overall it was great way to spend the evening with friends.

I ordered the Cobb salad, which was fresh, flavorful, and really well put together. Happy hour was also a highlight with good deals that made the night even better. Overall, it’s the kind of spot where you can relax, enjoy good food, and have fun with the crowd. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Augusta.

To say that service was inattentive does a disservice to the word inattentive. My second visit here after several months and have had the exact same experience. Atmosphere was nice which was good because you have plenty of time to soak it in.

Will not be returning. 5 small mozzarella sticks for $9. Food portions do not fit the price, not even the dinner options. Food does not appear to be restaurant made, but from a box. Service was amazing, however.

My friend and I had a wonderful experience. Our server was named Destini and she was absolutely amazing and kind during our dinner there. Would recommend TD to anyone in the area. The atmosphere was nice and calm, and we got there just in time for karaoke so that was awesome. I wish I had more to tip the server and hostess!! 10/10 will be coming back

We were seated at a table with a leaking a/c that dripped on to us. Took an hour to get a cold kids hamburger and fries with a side salad. Only served one glass of water the entire dining experience. Playroom is sticky and dirty, shoes sticking to the floor. This place used to be good, not sure what happened to it.

dog friendly! Staff is fabulous.
Owner prior military, you can tell because they have a POW/MIA table set up, in respect.
I highly recommend this restaurant. We were there from Myrtle Beach SC, to meet with a breeder, to pick up our Irish Wolfhound puppy. Lunch was fantastic! great variety of food to choose from.
As retired Navy SeaBees, both my husband and I, it was very inviting the staff thanked both of us for our service and we received a discount for our meal.
