Top Dawg Tavern - Augusta

Ordered a Buffalo Chicken sandwich, it tasted like precooked, fried patty. Literally worst chicken sandwich I have ever ate. My coworker ordered a pulled pork sandwich, it was more onions rings than pulled pork. It should have been called an onion ring sandwich. I used to love eating here but the food has gone downhill. Will not be returning.

Horrible customer service. No staff available for seating . No staff available to take your order. Females just twirling around outside or standing in the back. You’ll b waiting til the sky turns dark . However I did call, The manager did try and rectify the situation .

Atmosphere is very friendly. Staff is very attentive. We saw Beth eat nachos on This is Us and it made me remember the nachos here. Best I’ve ever had. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

We had a great dinner experience at Top Dawg! Our appetizer (The pretzel) was phenomenal and our dinners (the chicken nachos) were delicious. We had a great waitress and the entire staff was so friendly. We will absolutely be back!

FIRST AND NEVER AGAIN. I posted photos of the wings they put out. I'm appalled and concerned about their food safety. Wings appeared to be refried are now in the trash. The steak appetizer will possibly be fed to the dogs or thrown out. You should be ashamed Top Dawg!!

Stopped by to watch some football before heading to the airport. We wanted tailgating food, so we ordered lots of appetizers. The food was tasty, and the temperature was appropriate. There were plenty of games to choose from as far as football to watch. And our waitress was very sweet.

We walked into this restaurant today around lunchtime. The floor was sticky and dirty to the point our shoes were sticking, the outside area tables were disgusting, the outside area had trash, spider webs, and crap everywhere especially under the tables. The menus were sticky. No one came to our table to get our order even after we were staring at servers leaning on the bar talking away so we got up and left. We won’t return to this restaurant. No one wants to eat at a place that’s dirty before you even order food.

I had a great time at Top Dawg Tavern. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and Friday trivia night was a blast. Dr Frankenstein put together some fun questions for trivia, the staff were very friendly and attentive even with the large crowd. Overall it was great way to spend the evening with friends.

I ordered the Cobb salad, which was fresh, flavorful, and really well put together. Happy hour was also a highlight with good deals that made the night even better. Overall, it’s the kind of spot where you can relax, enjoy good food, and have fun with the crowd. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Augusta.

To say that service was inattentive does a disservice to the word inattentive. My second visit here after several months and have had the exact same experience. Atmosphere was nice which was good because you have plenty of time to soak it in.

Will not be returning. 5 small mozzarella sticks for $9. Food portions do not fit the price, not even the dinner options. Food does not appear to be restaurant made, but from a box. Service was amazing, however.
