Topgolf Augusta has to be the most confusing TopGolf I’ve ever been to. Why would you put a 1 story TopGolf in the golf capital where the Masters Tournament is played. No one wants to golf on the first level. It feels very rushed and without thought. Augusta has so much potential but they decide to keep cutting corners.

We had so much fun!!! It was a teens birthday party. We had two bays - one for the teens and one for the adults. This great for beginners and experienced golfers. The games were super fun. We only ordered drinks (beer and soft drinks). The drinks were good size and the beer was super cold. The service was good and the place was very clean - including the restrooms. We went on a day when it was raining but that did not matter - we were under the awning the entire time. There are other options for entertainment including corn hole and miniature golf.

We celebrated my husband’s bday tonight and had an amazing night. Beni was INCREDIBLE. Top Gold if you haven’t given Beni a raise yet then it’s time and no little raise I mean real money!! The Vibe Station

This establishment is beautiful and well kept but I have only ever experienced mediocre service here. Initially, the atmosphere made me overlook the many awkward moments. My server always takes a while to come and rarely comes back to check, I also notice very different treatment and even mild attitude on occasion.Tonight specially, I left my debit card. called the location during business hours and had to leave a message for someone to call me back. Thanks to never getting a response, I had to cancel/reorder a new one.After 4-5 separate visits, I want to love this place but I highly doubt I will return.

Bunch of scammers!!! I booked two bays online (paid $79 deposit) for my birthday and upon arrival, I realized only one bay was needed. The worker assured me the $79 deposit would transfer to the one bay; however, I lost the $79 total. Thus far, the managers have advised the booking was via a third party site and they were unable to refund any portion of it. As of today, I am waiting for the General Manager to contact me and if she makes this right, I’ll update you. Unfortunately, I won’t be visiting this or any others again. What a birthday gift!!!

**A year later and I am waiting on someone. I have been watching them turn away groups of customers because the bays are full. Top Golf, you did not do your homework when you thought a one story facility would work in Augusta. Just the amount of customers turned away today would have filled a multi-story facility.It is only a one story facility. Very boring playing at ground level. Was disappointed considering Augusta is the home of The Masters.

Twice now, I have had to wait 1-2 hours for an “open” bay. I counted at least twenty open bays. This was mid day and during the week.Our entire time there (4 hours) it was NEVER full. But they could not seat my party of six. 14 bays to the left of us remained open while we played. Unbelievable.This has to be the least effective and efficient way to run this course. You’re leaving money on the table, turning down paying customers, pissing off customers, turning a good potential experience into a terrible one, and reducing return customer potential.Tips:Treat the driving range and the restaurant operationally separate. Meaning, don’t let short kitchen staff impact the number of bays allowed. Or whatever your limiting factor is to the bays, fix it. Find a way to run an effective business model that allows all bays to be ran simultaneously with efficiency.Low on balls? Get more balls.Low on servers? Inform bay users they will have to use the bar to order, …or the computer screens and servers will be running delivering food only.Low on kitchen staff? Pair the menu down to apps only or drinks only.Also..Let the customer pick the bay they want! You can at the movie but not here? If you have open bays at one end, sometimes, us golfers want to be away from others while we practice our terrible swing.Bay users don’t need to be waited on hand and foot. The way you setup it, with specific waiter for a specific Bay is weird. Let any staff service any Bay. Automate ordering and paying from the bays.It’s way too expensive for all this low efficiency and low overall experience. There are some things that may need to be treated like a restaurant, some like a brewery, and most like a driving range. Honestly it feels like the driving range is an after thought.A huge shift needs to happen.Golf needs to be priority 1.USE ALL THE BAYS before you turn customers away.
