New ownership is definitely experiencing some growing pains.
Went on a Saturday morning and only 2 baristas were working. Waited almost 30 minutes for 2 iced drinks and 2 sandwiches.
Sandwiches were lukewarm around the edges and cold throughout. When I brought them back up to the counter, the barista was more than happy to make us 2 new ones. Unfortunately, the new ones were also cold, but we had waited so long at this point that we just ate what we could of it and threw away the rest.
As for the drinks: the chai was good, but took about 15 minutes to get. The matcha latte took about 30 minutes to get and tasted like a glass of milk.
This place could definitely benefit from another employee, perhaps one with more experience. Used to be semi-regular customers, but won't be returning for a while.
They do a great a great job here. I drive almost 30 minutes to get a cup!
Iced caramel latte is delicious!

The best local shop in town! Huge space, warm and welcoming staff and great location. Shoutout to Elaine and her team for the recommendation ! Grab their copy of the Little Guide for Augusta if visiting!

The Nicaraguan hot Americano was delicious, but I was impressed to see the back of the shop where they roast and process their coffee was entirely open. The owner was working away but stopped to chat with me. A lovely place to stop in the morning.

Looking for a spot that feels effortlessly cool? Ubora Coffee is the move. Grab a friend and vibe out over a perfectly crafted latte, or roll solo when it’s time to crush that to-do list. The atmosphere is laid-back but sharp—think cozy corners, modern design, and just the right playlist to keep you in the zone.
Whether you’re brainstorming your next big idea or just need a caffeine fix that doesn’t disappoint, Ubora delivers. Great coffee, great energy, and a space that makes you want to stay awhile. Work hard, sip slow, and let the chill take over.

Great coffee shop , I never judge a place on first impressions alone, with that being said I would like to go back! Should have ordered food, ended up with a fantastic cappuccino!

I study here a lot and the staff are always friendly. I've accidentally stayed a couple minutes past close sometimes and they've never been pushy about leaving and I appreciate that hospitality. It's very different from the new coffeeshop that I visited the other day, Emil's, that has a very rude owner who I've watched harass and chase customers.
Love Ubora, would definitely come again!

Great tasty maple latte here! They were able to make it less sweet for me, have great pastry and sandwich options but unfortunately they seem to run out of breakfast sandwiches by around 9:30 or 10am. Otherwise great service!

Online ordering website is not working, change in ownership may have caused the issue. There is no response after several attempts, emails and weeks have passed...
Ubora now has breakfast sandwiches! Tried the sunrise and it was great…obviously, because I forgot to snap a pic before I ate it! The staff are friendly, coffee is great and roasted in house. I always have a great experience. Love this local downtown spot! Plus—Veteran Owned!!!

I visited this location while on vacation. They roast their own beans (I recommend the espresso blend) and you can buy them in store. Coffee was delicious. There were people sitting in the cafe working on computers.
