Absolutely 💯 delicious 😋

I know why I haven't been back for a while. Nothing has changed. While the schnitzel was acceptable, the baked potato was horrible. The first one was rock hard on one end, so I asked the waitress for another. I watched as the lady in the kitchen put it in the microwave and it was also rock hard. The waitress apologized but made no attempt to offer any other options or discount. To pay $50.00 for lunch and get food like this is why this place is going out of business.

We've been visiting Villa Europa for years. The German food has always been fantastic. I keep saying I'll try the Italian fare but I always go back to schnitzel and brats and such. Unfortunately the location is out of the way and the facility is aging. They had to give up their alcohol license as a cost savings measure. The beer selection up until then has been top notch. I really hope they can move to a better location. I'm sure business would improve dramatically for them if they had a better spot.

Great food! You can never go wrong with their Schnitzel and red cabbage !

This was a great experience for my husband and I! The food was rich but not greasy, and the flavors were so well mixed.
Our waitress was very bubbly and knowledgable about the menu!!
Would definitely stop by again.

Went to dinner here to celebrate my birthday and the food was absolutely amazing! The Bavarian Fritters were delicious, very interesting flavor. The Jaegerschnitzel was seasoned perfectly and the potato salad had a nice bite. We only saw 2 waiters however they were working diligently to make sure each table was taken care of. The black forest cake was not overly sweet, very rich, and moist as well. Had a wonderful experience, hoping to come back soon!

Came to have dinner with reservations. Been waiting 25 minutes and no one has even come to the front door yet

An all time favorite!!!. Id eat there daily if I was closer! The French onion soup is better than anywhere I've ever had...The escargot is out of this world and piping hot! The staff never disappoint!!!

My boyfriend wanted to surprise me since we were in town to shop for German groceries.
So first we were surprised that they didn’t serve German Beer and were told by the chatty Server the IRS took our alcohol license on New Year’s Eve but luckily we were still able to serve it that night.
TMI for my opinion as an associate you should protect the place you work for and not talk it down.
He went on in talking bad about the owners etc.
My man ordered Wiener Schnitzel (was very black/burnt on the bottom) and Spätzle some side potato salad, Gypsy sauce and Sauerkraut.
I ordered Rinderrouladen that comes with Spätzle and these were the worst I ever had.
I asked the Server if they were store bought and he said yes they come from Aldi or Lidl.
He said the machine is broken and that somebody brings one back from Germany.
Well he forwarded the message to the owner and after asking her to come see me she refused at first but then came to clarify the Spätzle situation.
She clarified there is no broken machine they just simply can’t/ won’t make them fresh in house because it’s not worth it and impossible for that large quantity.
Well I have to disagree.
As a German we have to take pride in our food and this was just not acceptable at all. Other than the Sauerkraut everything was blah …
It is possible to make Spätzle in house in large quantities as so many restaurants do here.
You could even freeze them.
If it’s not worth to serve your guest with good quality then I would reconsider if this is the path to go.
Sorry but this was the worst german restaurant experience I had in the US as a German and I been to a lot.

Do not judge a book by its cover.
This is the best German and Italian food around. Better than anything found in Helen Georgia.
Once ordered, the food came fast and hot, and the portions are big.
Everything is of the highest quality, everything on the menu is a home run. I might add the Gypsy Sauce to everything I order.
The Carmel Apple Mule has no business being as good as it is.
Get a liter or two in a boot! Or get a flight and try authentic German imports.
Cheers to our server, Jaydyn S! She has excellent hospitality, is very knowledgeable about the menu and can easily lead you to a new favorite meal.
Will definitely be returning. You have got to explore the whole menu.

We just love our hidden gem German restaurant! We sure hope it stays in the area! We were in Helen and had a 3.5 hrs wait on dinner on the German place we wanted. I suggested we call Villa, make a reservation and eat when we got home. We were not disappointed. As usual the food was amazing!

Waitress was excellent, single waitress for a group of nearly two dozen but she took excellent care of us.

PS. Our Lions group has had our Christmas celebration here in the past and will continue to consider it for future use
