First the menu is a mile long! How can anything be fresh with that many options? My husband ordered the mushroom swiss burger add bacon. It was dry, flavorless patty like it had been pre-made frozen patty. Same with the rubbery, flavorless mushrooms. The burger was lukewarm at best, and the wedge fries were practically room temperature. Huge disappointment! The only saving grace was the lemon pepper ranch wings, which were decent. But overall, a total miss. If they focused on doing a smaller menu with fresh ingredients, it could be a decent spot. But for now, I'd skip it.

Waiting on food at the bar. Ask the lady bartender for a drink while I waited, she didn’t even have the curtesy to say hello. Dam near threw my drink at me, never looked my way again. Not going to call her racist but she certainly made the only 2 black guys in the bar feel like they weren’t wanted there. Bartenders are suppose to be friendly.

Love the food had a shrimp plate, sweet potato fries & cup of soup. Suppose to have 2 sides & this time soup was no longer a side. Wasn't told that at the time of ordering. Had it that way before. Did not get or was i offered 2nd side at all. Disappointed that it happened that way. Be sure to ask next time.
Mediocre sub. Southwestern egg roll and soup were obviously frozen. But I don't know what I was expecting. Awesome service though.

We eat at Village Deli 2 to 3 times a month and have always gotten good food and service, however today's Turkey Melt on grilled sourdough was maybe the best melt I ever had. 11/10.

Place was packed at lunch on a Saturday. No worries. Had a 2 minute wait to be seated. Waiter showed up soon after and took our drink order. Menu was a bit overwhelming, at first, but it was well organized and soon found what we wanted. Atmosphere was like a college diner, but with a sports bar/cafe feel to it. Staff were very friendly, energetic, and attentive without being pushy or bothersome. Sweet tea was really good. Food took a bit to get to our table, but, as mentioned, it was pretty crowded with 4 tables having laege groups of people, so it was understood. Cordon Bleu sandwich was juicy and French onion soup ws just right. Onion rings and fried okra were excellent. Italian sub-sandwich was good. Overall great place to hang out and have lunch with family and friends.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly.

Was about to leave a 5 star review. But we were told only members in uniform get a discount. Horrible practice. Service members usually like to get out of their uniform after a long day. If an active duty ID isn't good enough than service members should go elsewhere. ?

Salmon was very dry and overcooked. Fried catfish were also greasy and overcooked. Used to be our go to place but has greatly declined . Sadly this was a takeout. Can't recommend.
