I ordered online at 215 a.m. , my order confirmation said it would be ready at 2:36 a.m.Upon my arrival at 2:33a.m, there was an employee asleep at the table. I called out to her at least 10 times, shook the table twice and finally physically shook her before she looked up at me without saying anything and just walked to the back. A short while later another employee walked out, she didn’t address me at all and begin preparing my food. The food prep area was visibly dirty but old food lying around. The waffle iron had old waffle pieces lying all around it. The grill had old oil on it. It was just gross. The grits were like water. I asked her if she could cook them longer she said they were prepared earlier and there were no grits left for her to cook. She told me she didn’t know why they looked that way. I asked for a refund but she said that wasn’t an option. This had to be my worst restaurant experience in my adult life. I was afraid to eat the food. I decided to try the waffle but that was also undercooked. I don’t know what was going on but I will never go to that location again which is unfortunate for me since I work nearby but since this is food. I can’t risk putting just anything in my body. I pray they get it together.

We went in and it was freezing cold in there. The air was blasting and it wasn’t even hot outside. All of the tables were dirty. We sat down and looked around and got right back up and left.

I love Waffle House as a whole. I prefer over McDonald's any day. I'm just going to caulk this up too they can't all be perfect. The food was as good as it gets. But the inside dining, dirty. The young man working as the service staff. He was too busy talking with the cook.The cook would engage in the young man's conversation. But he'd (cook) also keep him inline with his duties.So......bad service and beyond the norm for cleanliness. No worries Waffle House, I'll be back.
