Very nice place and good food and great size portions for your family if you’re looking to stretch the size food portions out. Plenty to take home with you if you’re full after you’ve filled up.

Located off of Washington road near I-20, this little Asian restaurant is serving both quick fare Japanese hibachi, as well as Vietnamese dishes. Service is quick and the lady is friendly. Not too long of a wait to recieve the food. Tried the #2 pho with steak and tripe. Came with a hearty portion of noodles and cuts of meat. The broth itself was more on the bland/watery side, but there’s some sauces available to spruce it up. Very filling bowl of soup but I wish the broth had more beef flavor. Overall was a good visit. Would come again to try their other dishes.

Very pricey for the amount of food that you get the chicken was overcooked I won't go back it wasn't the worst but not good enough for the amount you pay for it really need to do better as far as cooking food so the chicken won't be tough

I recently revisited Wasabi Express in Augusta after 20 years, and I’m thrilled to say that it exceeded my expectations! I was a bit hesitant to return after so long, but the food was just as fantastic as I remembered. If you're looking for quick Hibachi Grill-style food, this place is a must-visit.

The decor may be a little off, but don’t let that fool you—the quality of the food more than makes up for it. The flavors were spot on, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. Whether you're a longtime fan or new to the area, Wasabi Express is a gem for anyone craving delicious, no-fuss Hibachi. I'll definitely be back!

The employees here have always been super friendly and make me feel like a friend with the genuine smiles. The food has never disappointed me, from teriyaki chicken to pho.

They are always super friendly and my food is always on point. I live in Atlanta now, but every time I come by Augusta I take some Wasabi Express togo.

**Update**
It’s been 7 years since I last visited. They survived the pandemic it seems but the love is lost. Most noticeable was the customer service. Though time passed I recognized the lady at the window. No hey how are you. Very bland expression almost bored. Prices went up a bit which was cool. But the food is now a rip off. I ordered two chicken teriyaki.

Where was the chicken. There’s so much rice you can make a meal for days. But the chicken used to at least last you two meals. I was really disappointed.

The food was really full of flavor and super fresh. The staff was adorable. The only disappointment of the meal was the order the food came out. First was the chicken teriyaki. Then after my husband was nearly done with his meal my pho was brought out. Then as I was done our appetizer arrived. Everything was tasty but it would have been great to eat together.
