“The sports grill in my "pub". All the food is amazing, and they have daily specials for food and drinks. They've got pool tables and poker as well as trivia. The staff take the time to learn your name and what you like. There have been many times when I walk in, and my drink of choice, a tal beer in a cold glass, is waiting on me at my spot. Sometimes, when it's busy, you may wait a bit for service, but that's life. I've never seen a fight or even a "strong disagreement" there. It's a cool local bar. I go about once or twice a week. Check them out!“

“The food was as good as most fast food restaurants. Had the Cobb Salad once, it had chicken, iceberg lettuce, bacon, blue cheese, small side of egg, choice of dressing. Liked all the TVs around so I was able to watch some college football while eating.“

“Been coming here regularly for months. It doesn't matter how big the crowd is, how busy the bar is, or how varied the music is. The vibe is always in the right place. The Saturday DJ, Jake, is a friendly dude, and he's got some of the best variety in music I've seen. Also, best bartender award has to go to Jordan. All in all, 10/10 bar, great experience every time.“

“Lemon pepper chicken wings were served hot, tangy and deliciously perfect! Onion rings were fried to perfection. Strawberry Hennessy margarita was excellent 👌🏽👍🏽. Went on a Thursday night. Baseball was on the huge tv screens and music was upbeat. This was my first visit, but won't be my last! Bartender was on point! Not many customers, probably due to it being a week day, but I really enjoyed my experience! Will definitely go again and tell my friends. 👍🏽😁“

“Over the years, Varner’s Tavern has become one of our favorite go-to spots. They serve the best wings in Smyrna—hands down—but even when we’re not in the mood for wings, their menu has plenty of other delicious options to choose from. Our kids always find something they enjoy too, which makes Varner’s an easy pick for family outings. The service is consistently great, and on the rare occasion something isn’t right, they’re quick to make it right. We’ve brought several friends here over the years, and now it’s one of their favorite spots too!“
