Caribbean Connection Restaurant

I go to this special restaurant from time to time as I like the good mood that is part of this restaurant. The team is exceptionally helpful and professional. The service is exceptionally efficient. Also, the food they prepare is excellent. I frequent often and I was always satisfied. The rate is modest. I recommend this place to my friends and family.

Love it!! I had the oxtails with rice, we enjoy it! Chris the owner took care of us, it takes a while to get your food but everything is cook to order. Please be patience, the food is good and fresh!!

I really wanted to avoid giving a negative review to this restaurant because we need more Haitian food options in the area. I have been to this establishment at least 4 times and have tried to give them a chance. Each time, I have left disappointed.

Went in for lunch and ordered goat with rice and peas with sour sop milkshake (12 oz). Very clean and has a nice ambience. Wait time was 42 minutes from order to meal. The peas must've been on strike, 'cause only a few halves were in that plate. Gentleman who made my milkshake went back and forth between kitchen, bar, and register without any observable regard to hygiene. Food is subpar, lacking in flavor, and is quite overpriced. For what I ordered in a basic to-go styrofoam plate, I paid $26 and change. Not lunch prices at all. I paid with a card (square) and asked for a receipt. The nice gentleman (same one who made shake) wouldn't print one to justify the cost of the food, but told me (really politely) that one would be e-mailed to me, but never collected my email. There are better Haitian restaurants in the area (C'est Si Bon is bae) and they do not charge these ridiculous rates. I won't be back and won't make recommendations for anyone else to go!
