I took my kids here this weekend and the experience was amazing! They got to do so many of the fun things there just off of the entry charge, no extra fees! And the pumpkin patch had an amazing selection! The staff was also super friendly. Definitely will be going again next year!
Fun and affordable for all
What I find so hard to stomach is the fact that Country Cousins, like most of their competitors, talk themselves up to being poles apart when it comes to the nitty gritty of good service for the client. In reality they charge you £195 for the privilege of us being on their books with the benefit no doubt of our name and address being traded across Saga and other companies. Another £182/1wk commission and not one tiny e-mail, telephone call or letter or any other methed of communication you can think of to see if either we the customer or their carer are ok. They say they are eager to show transparency but obviously not eager enough to do the basics of offering a courteous service for a fair price. Shame on you Country Cousins aka SAGA.
Very poor service. I have been told today that CC cannot help me finding a suitable cousin for a 16 day booking. Apparently the fact that we are rural and so have to have a car driver is beyond the capability of this agency. We had a similar issue last year when they sent someone who was supposedly a driver, but when they got here, she was too nervous to drive in the uk! This time, I was offered a cousin who could do half the booking, but the prospect of having two different people in a little over two weeks, doesn't work for someone who has dementia and gets confused, plus how could I agree to that without knowing what happens for the latter part of the booking. I feel like the so called customer service people do not have any idea what customer service is. They just want to fill bookings as quickly as possible. What a waste of the membership fee. I would advise against joining unless you are happy to be palmed off with whatever is the easiest solution for Country Cousins. I don't think insisting on a car driver is an unreasonable request.
