I am a Black Female. Me and my Black-Female Friend were headed to La Chana and ended up at Tacos El Rey due to close proximity and chose to stay. Maybe this is a cultural thing, but I did not appreciate when I spoke Spanish to one of the young ladies working in the front that she ignored me until I spoke English to her. I will just call this 'Cultural Bias'. It felt unfair and hostile much like racism. Good enough to interact with my money, but not anything else. The food was ok snd the salsa made it better, but I won't go where I cannot express myself freely.

If i could rate higher i would!! I love tacos, LOVE TACOS, i repeat but everyone doesnt do them right. Came here out the blue while out running errands & i must say i was pleasantly surprised!! Everything was super fresh, i got 4 steak tacos, steak was tender, flavorful, cheese melted just right, crisp lettuce with a side of chips & cheese. The chips were thicker than ive had but they paired quite well with the queso! Definitely will come again even though i live 45 minutes away!
