You may notice I have 2 stars on atmosphere thats because of all of the possibilities of people who may be there. I will not fault them for life being the way it is but let is service as a heads up. Loud people, rude people, polite people, quiet people, babies, toddlers and more all available to rub elbows with.“

“It's not fancy, and it's a bit of a drive for us, but Birria El Gordo is authentic and a great place for, well, Birria. They have a solid menu, several choices of meats, and usually a pretty decent salsa and garnish bar. I was sad that they didn't have the marinated carrots and veggies this time, because it's my favorite. The aguas frescas and my favorite, horchata, are popular with my family. They also serve beer and margaritas. Can't go wrong with a drive to Birria El Gordo for tacos, quesadillas, or a vampiro!“
