I recently placed a large catering order with Palmer’s Eatery for about 50 people, totaling $1,750, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. To be fair, there was some confusion on both sides regarding the date on the invoice, and I was told that the owner’s wife had been hospitalized around that time. I completely understand that emergencies happen. However, the quality of the food and the execution of the order did not meet expectations. Several issues stood out. The chicken actually had feathers on it, which was very off-putting. The waffles, pancakes, and French toast appeared to be store-bought rather than made from scratch. When I brought this up, I was told that I didn’t specifically request homemade items. In my opinion, when booking a catering service, especially at this price point, homemade breakfast items should be the standard expectation. There were also substitutions made without my approval. I ordered a full pan of shrimp but received only half a pan, with the other half replaced by salmon without being asked beforehand. On the day of the event, I was also told they couldn’t find Philly cheesesteak egg rolls in the store and asked if sliders could be substituted instead. This was particularly disappointing because we had tasted their food weeks prior and were excited to book them. Unfortunately, the food served at the event was nowhere near that standard. When I reached out about the issues, I was only offered a 10% credit toward a future booking rather than a refund, unless I returned the food. That resolution felt inadequate given the circumstances. Overall, I really wanted this to be a great experience, but between the substitutions, food quality, and lack of a reasonable resolution, it was very disappointing.

Just had the pleasure to finally enjoy a meal that I actually loved since moving to Douglasville Ga. From Miami Fl. I had the Hibachi Rice with Lobster, shrimp and chicken with veggies. the food was so favorable and nice portions. the Owner and her wife was super sweet and just adorable.do to it was my first time trying the food and it was pouring down raining they brought my food to me in my car and gave me a free dessert which was absolutely delicious the Banana pudding. I would be definitely returning back Thank you Ladies

A friend of mine recommended this place and I was finally able to come try it. Got the Peach Cobbler and Grill Chicken Platter. The service from the two ladies was excellent and the food tasted delicious! Glad I finally stopped by and will definitely come back soon! There's plenty of seating and the whole set up on the back is very nice and relaxing vibe to enjoy with friends and family. There's also an area for dogs to play and run freely. Make sure to give this place a try!

I called to make sure they’re open and told them I was going to place an order on UberEats. They told me they can do free delivery if within their area. So I placed my order with them instead and I got my food within 30 minutes!! And a bigger surprise is how warm and DELICIOUS the food is! I ordered the Steak and Lobster plate and Chris’ fries. They did not hold back on the portions as well. Best $44 I spent! Thank you Tye and Tasha!

Drove all the way from Decatur when they said were open on Facebook literally from posting an hour ago and they were closed. They could have went back on fb & said they were closed .

Really enjoyed the food. Only complaint is that the lobster was cut up into little tiny pieces, while the photos I saw had a full juicy fat lobster tail on the store page. But otherwise the food was amazing and the price was right!

I had my first visit to Palmer's Eatery and it did not disappoint! We got our food to-go. So I didn't get to enjoy the cute outdoor seating area. The food was delicious! I had the 3 meat hibachi with chicken, steak, and shrimp. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Large portions. I also had the peach cobbler.... whew! Delicious.... tasted like somebody's granny made it. LOL I will definitely be back and highly recommend Palmer's Eatery.
