Taqueria La Tecampana

After a long day at Six Flags, we were looking for some good food to grub on — and Taqueria La Tecampana did not disappoint!

We got burritos, the short rib plate, and a quesabirria taco. Everything was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The staff was also friendly, and the place had a great ambiance.

The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get — definitely worth it.

Sorry for no photos — we were starving and went straight to eating!

We live an hour away, but we’ll definitely be making the drive back for their delicious food!

Food truck comes to Mitchell’s grocery store in Mableton off old Alabama! We go about three times per week-fresh and good!
We’ve had all the tacos & the burger is to live for!

The food was awesome, we got tongye tacos, tongue quesadilla and a burrito. The restaurant is clean and very nice... i plan to have a birthday there this year.... we arrived right when they opened so the food was fresh and had amazing flavors. They also have a bar and serve beer and hard liquor.

I’ve been to this restaurant at least 10 times in 7 years. The food is always great and the prices are great. However, last year and last night, I had food poisoning after I left from this place. I assumed that maybe it was something I’d eaten elsewhere. I decided to come here again (an entire calendar year later)….food was great, service was great…I was expelling food from both ends of my body all night last night…again. I’m positive that it was from this restaurant now. This saddens me because I actually like this restaurant 😢

Hidden Gem, this place blew me away with how delicious their tacos were. Sat at the bar with Carlos and had an amazing dining experience with a very knowledgeable bartender who was at the top of his game..

Fancy authentic Mexican restaurant. Food was excellent, came out in a timely manner, waitress was wonderful. Gratuity was charged automatically.

I wanted to like this place because the staff was so nice! Unfortunately, the food was just ok. Meat was overcooked with the exception of the shrimp which was cooked just right. Beans and guacamole were watery. Seasoning was lacking. THEY DO NOT SERVE SALSA!!!!! There was none provided with chips and was none available for purchase. I questioned it, it there was none to be had intentionally. Either it was an off night for the kitchen or the likability of the staff is carrying this place.

They over charged us. The food was disgusting and the waitress Emily lied and said she told us the price of cheese dip and she absolutely did not. We didn’t get all the food we ordered, and the manager was absolutely no help at all. They got my daughter’s order wrong and rolled their eyes because we ask them to fix it. This was a total disaster and I hope you find somewhere else to take your family. Did I mention we were the only American family in the place and they showed no southern hospitality or customer service. Yall suck at this joint. And the atmosphere was very boring.
