Our family just visited Six Flags over Georgia for our spring break. The weather was perfect! Price of the ticket to get in was pretty cheap. My biggest complaint was the cost of everything else especially food!!! The don't allow food to be brought in and so we were forced to eat there. 1 small bowl of orange chicken and rice (about the size of a kids meal) was $18.50. What a rip off! Parking was also $35 which seemed like way too much. Seems like it would be better to charge a little more for the ticket and make the rest a little more reasonable. The park itself was fun, full of mostly thrill rides which my teenagers loved. Luckily, it wasn't a very crowded day because most lines were fairly short. However, Batman line was crazy long and mostly due to inefficient way they were loading the ride. It's frustrating to stand in line for an hour and see half the coasters being sent with 1/4 of the seats empty. With much of the staff just standing around they could easily find a better way to load the coaster. There were lots of bathrooms which was great but most could use a little more cleaning and definitely an air freshener or 10. I was also disappointed with the app as we found that most of the wait times of it were wrong. Fun time but probably a once and done for us.

If you are a young black man who is fashionable and like to keep your tags on your clothes don't go here. The park security turned my son and his friend away told them they couldn't come back for the day all because of what they had on never even giving them the opportunity to change. I understand rules change when different circumstances arise but if that's the case keep the dress code updated on the website. The experience was very disappointing considering we drove over 4 hours to bring them for their spring break. It's disappointing that they where profiled and we definitely will not be back.

Overall this place was fun for the kids. Food was not that bad, but the facilities were ghetto. Maybe just Atlanta problems, but 6F could have done a better job getting ready for the spring breakers.

If you are handicapped, stay away from here. Even when you have a fast pass you wait in line. Whatever you do.! Don't sign up for membership. I went there 3 years ago and they keep trying to take money out of my account. I have called them numerous times and sent a letter of cancellation. Stopped payment on my card. They say till I pay 9 months back I can't cancel. So they keep adding on. I am waiting till someone starts a class action lawsuit against them.

The Platinum Elite card does NOT get me to the front. Neither does it get my unlimited refills. My 3 sons wanted to go on Monster Mansion and the line was EXTREMLY long, and with me buying 5 platinum cards, me and my family should be able to go to the front. Me, Julian, I would rather go to a local park than go to this sweaty, longlined, piece of crap! I would also be at the local park in a jiffy!

i found random poop on the ground. very expensive, not how i remember it growing up. Workers were incredibly rude worse than universals workers.

Very underrated park in the Six Flags chain. Have been going here since 2014 as my home park and never had any bad experiences when visiting. I've always admired the hilly terrain and the nice setting where Blue Hawk is standing above the lake. Recently went there in December for Holiday in the Park to enjoy my visit there in 5 years. I'm very excited to see what will 2024 bring now that the new Ultra Surf coaster is coming this summer as a much needed attraction to cool off on a hot summer day

Purchased tix, preferred parking pass, and flash pass and was a waste of $275. Half the rides and most of the concessions were closed. When I ask the parking attendant about where to park for the "preferred" parking that I paid for, his response was "you can use it another day". It is clear that this property needs to be closed and renovated as it seems that it has not been done for 20+ years. Would not waste my time or money if I were you. The worst six flags that we have been to...... sad, sad, sad....

Now that our three kids are older, and taller!, we decided to take advantage of the Cyber Monday sales and try annual passes again for 2024. I believe we had passes 2016-2019 but it pushing toddlers in a doubleBOB through the hills of SixFlags isn't for the weak. Anywho... We decided to pop into the park 12/9 to enjoy the holiday festivities and ride some rides. Our oldest turns 15 and can ride all the coasters. Our younger two are 9 & 8, the youngest LOVES coasters but only hit 48" early this year. The forecast wasnt great so we figured we'd do what we could until the weather wasn't enjoyable. We were pleasantly surprised the weather must have kept most away. All the lines were incredibly short! We rode Twisted Cyclone, Delonagha Mine Train and all three girls rode the Wonder Woman ride then the 15yo and 8yo rode Dare Devil together. We took a break for some snacks as we bought the discounted meal plan during the Cyber Monday sale. The girls split two orders of garlic knots, which were a mixture of overly reheated and soft. The portion of garlic knots cost $8.99 but counted towards a snack credit. We were able to use a lunch credits for dip n dots which was nice. My oldest and I rode Batman together; it was as fun as I remembered. We were able to ride Catwoman's Whip, a new ride for us - really fun! We all rode The Riddler together, my younger two's first time. Although the park advertised they would be open until 8:00, we were surprised when all the dining establishments started closing at 7:00. Instead of getting dinner we got pretzels with our dinner credits. Another "con" for me is how some areas are completely neglected. The floor in DeeJay's Diner has floor tiles chipped throughout the dining and ordering areas, and many tiles in the ordering line were popped up. It seems like a potential hazard to have these loose. We're looking forward to making great family memories here over the next year!

Writing as a SF passholder who has never been to this park. I had read some ugly reviews about this park before going and wasn't sure what to expect. I will say that the surrounding area is pretty plain. There's not a whole lot to do and some say it's unsafe (I didn't run into that issue, but food places close early). The park itself is fine. Parking is a little disorganized but that didn't bother me. The rides are what I look for and this Six Flags has some noteworthy ones. Twisted Cyclone is a great RMC coaster. Small but mighty. Don't skip the Mine Train. It's actually fantastic for a family coaster. The Great American Scream Machine is a must ride as well - so iconic and impressive overall for any coaster enthusiast. Finally, the best ride in the park is Goliath. Smooth, crazy air time and you'll want to ride more than once. The park is very walkable and there is a great little bar about halfway in if you'd like a good cocktail. The staff there is beyond fantastic. SFoG is worth your time in my opinion.

Absolutely disappointing. The food is overpriced. The staff is undertrained and don't care. The lines at everything, whether rides or food, take an unreasonably long time. Nothing is organized. The park is dirty, like ghetto dirty. They will happily charge an arm and a leg for absolutely everything, but don't use the money to improve the park. The experience has gotten worse each year. I will be canceling my family's memberships. This is absurd.

This amusement park is organized horribly. First off, they make you pay an additional fee for the haunted houses so the whole family went ahead and bought the express passes so we could at least see all 5 haunted houses while we were there, that means it was $90 per person to enter the park and theoretically have an express haunt pass. We were there for 7 hours, waited in two lines for rides which both broke down right when we got to the front so we didn't get to ride them. And only got to see 2 haunted houses because there was no express line. None of the haunted houses were staffed or separating lines between express bracelets and normal ones. In fact there wasn't even a line at all outside the houses just a mass of people. Several people cut in front of us who had no wristbands at all so shouldn't even be admitted into the houses and they were let in anyways. I complained to the staff member who let them in and they didn't do anything about it. Don't waste your money. $90 for 2 mediocre haunted houses that last about 5 minutes each, for an entire day of waiting in lines is ridiculous. We used to do season passes but this park has really taken a turn for the worse. I will not be coming back and warning everyone I know to spend their money and travel somewhere else.

Six Flags over Georgia is one of those places that has progressively gone downhill and it seems like they just don't care..... probably because most people that still go just don't have other options near by and their business is locked in anyway, so why care? Others like myself & family.....well, we are unlikely to give them our business again anytime soon nor would we recommend it to others. I will say if you go with the right expectations (which is low), then you will be okay. So let me give you the deets so you can adjust your expectations accordingly and decide for yourself if it works for you. Employees....most of 2/3 are expressionless with a small portion of that who are nice and smiley. The other 1/3 are VERY rude and ignorant, even to kids! If you are lucky, you may not run into any of the 1/3....but if you do, they are likely to ruin your day. So....prepare for that. We got unlucky and ran into a super rude and passive aggressive employee that literally made my kid cry. Want to speak to a manager on-site? Ha, good luck. We were told: "Ummm, there is nobody onsite. You would need to reach out to corporate and fill out a comment card." Lol, I am actually not surprised by that, the place reflects lack of on-site management. I did attempt to reach out to corporate and the local manager, no personalized response. They don't care what happened. They don't care that they have rude and mean employees. I will give credit where credit is due though - the employees at guest relations and the flash pass office are in the small minority and are on the helpful/nice side. Anyway, just know that it's nothing like how it looks on the commercial where all the staff look like they are happy to be there and happy to see customers, haha. Rides - 3 different rides that were supposed to be running were down while we were there. A couple of the ones that were operating were only operating partially (one cart on the coaster vs. two on Mindbender for example) or multiple seats on Superman were broken, etc. So doesn't it make you wonder about their maintenance a bit and the safety? Also, look around their coaster equipment and electrical boxes....trash galore around it, hopefully nothing gets blown into a gear or something and cause an accident.....as for operation of the rides? One of the reasons the wait is so long for rides even when it's not super crowded is because the employees move like molasses. Like REALLY slow. I get it. They are there all day anyway, no reason to hustle. So be prepared for longer wait than you would think even when the crowd is low. Security - I literally laughed at this one. They have a security station where everyone is suppose to go through. Tons of people squeeze through and nobody cares. Got a bag that didn't get fed through the machine? Nobody cares. So....there is security, but there really isn't. Food? I can't comment on this one much as we didn't eat at the park. Mostly greasy/junk foodas one would expect at an amusement park. It is better staffed than at the rides because they make additional money on these, so they care a tiny bit more. Still tons of people crowded in front of various stations though. The drink machines? Half of them don't work. I saw multiple people trying to refill their refillable bottles and the machines don't work...and people banging on them trying to get them to work....they still don't haha. Oh, lastly, the app. The app is a great idea.....if it is even slightly accurate. It's not. A ride said 2 minutes wait, it took at least 30 minutes to get on. You can extrapolate accordingly. Maybe it would be 2 minutes if everything worked and the employees moved at regular speed.....but as I mentioned above, that's not how it works here, so definitely not at all close to the wait time the app says. So after all of that....why did we still go? Well, we already bought the tickets as we had fond memories of it from long ago and by the time we see how it is now, it is a little too late. So I am s

This is not the first time I've written this place a bad review. I used to have a season pass and canceled after multiple bad visits. I thought maybe it was due to Covid so I gave it another try. 2 years later, no better. I came for Fright nights and half the ride were closed and there were no actors in the scare zone. Not again 6 flags, not for the price.
