I went in on a crowded night to see Chris Devoe perform a rare live set. It was just me, and Joe made me feel very welcome at the bar. The cornmeal cake was a total knockout— thank you for the lovely experience! It can be tough to get good service as solo diner… the atmosphere is thoughtful, attractive and equipped with dynamic sound you can really feel!! 10/10 will dine again
Commune is my favorite spot in Atlanta, period. I've been visiting regularly for about a year and a half, and there is no better atmosphere/vibe in the city. The music is always fantastic, and is always at a perfect conversation volume. The food changes almost every time I visit, keeping things fresh, and if I don't like something, it's gone by the next time. I've never had a bad drink here; the wine selection is perfect. Just saw the Jeff Buckley documentary. This place takes audio quality seriously! Staff was great. As an audio professional, I’m always aware of room acoustics and this place nailed it!
