The Lost Druid Brewery & Distillery

Had a terrible experience here yesterday. We thought we were going to enjoy a nice dinner with our family but instead were treated very poorly by a staff member and patron. The staff member was extremely unprofessional. She came to our table to inform us that a patron falsely accused my nephew of peeing on the floor in the bathroom. HE DID NOT. She rudely interrupted our dinner and made a big deal about it. She told us if there was water on the floor to begin with it was our responsibility to inform her about it. I’ve worked in the service industry long enough to know that is simply not true. As an employee of the establishment it is on YOU to up keep YOUR bathrooms. The patron said very rude things about our family and we felt extremely disrespected. If you want to have an establishment be child free, then you should make it 21+. Our family frequents here and have been long standing patrons since you opened. We will not be going here again. I hope you guys will make your establishment 18+ or 21+ instead of shaming and treating children and their families like this shit. I will add that the gentleman working last night was apologetic. He comped some of our tab so we did appreciate that.

Wow, our first time & certainly not our last! Reviews are so true. Delicious food & great drinks. We were vendors at Avondale Farmer’s Market. We stopped in after the market & we’re not disappointed. Rachel & Jared were so kind! See you again! Cheers!

Good vibes and great beer

Great brewery with a great selection of beer. Outside seating with really good German inspired food.

Ordered the Pesto Crostini
The dish looked appetising when it came to our table.
Without second thought we placed an order for another right away.
Well it turns out when we tasted the first order, all 5 of us at the table felt as if there’s dirt in it. We raise it with our server and to our surprise his response was “what resolutions are we trying to seek here”.
All of us were taken aback by such a crude response. No apology, no concern, no attempt to rectify a customer’s concern

We weren’t looking out for a refund or drama. It was a genuine concern.
Same thing on the 2nd order of our Pesto crostini. We raised it again and were told it’s the sunflower seeds. Well we know the difference between dirt and sunflower seeds :) we didn’t touch the second order.

The place is good. Good vibes good beer. But the server’s behaviour left a bad taste.

A unique distillery/ brewery. They are offering nice IPAs,lagers, and sour. They also made vodka, gin, rum and bourbon. And there are some choices for THC products. Not only their beer are great, their food is restaurant quality. We tried many dishes and there were way better than any other brewery food that we have had. They have limited parking up front but street parking is available. We sat out in the patio, with the breeze it felt great. Unfortunately being outside, flies and mosquitos were constantly interfering with our experience. The two staff that working were both friendly and uplifting. If you in the area, please stop by this hidden gem in Avondale.

Very good beers, food, and service. Comfortable atmosphere. Great place to spend the afternoon.

Congrats to The Lost Druid Brewery!!  Celebrating their 6 year anniversary.  I have been here numerous times. The food and rotating beer menu never disappoints.  This time I was privileged to meet and chat with the owner Stacia Familo-Hopek.   We also enjoyed the live entertainment from Dante Daza @_dant3daza. He was killing the electric guitar playing a wide variety of music. He is extremely talented.  Great Brewery in the Avondale Estates area. We will definitely be returning!!!

Great atmosphere & patio. Lots of drink selections, and the pretzels are good!

Great spot, with better than expected food... I'll call it elevated bar food, and a great selection of beers and hard seltzers. Love that they also have their own spirits and non alcoholic drinks as well. Pretzels were to die for :)

Bicycle parking and extensive outdoor seating, both covered and uncovered.

Great, comfortable place to spend an afternoon. Friendly service and a wide selection of drinks and good food options as well.

Great spot for some snacks and craft beer! And there’s lots of mocktails and fancy sodas if you’re not interested in the beer!
