Ball Ground Burger Bus

The unique experience of dining in what used to be a city of Atlanta cross-town bus (technically a trackless trolley) is the reason people come to the Burger Bus. But the menu selections and one of a kind offers make the meal a unique experience as well. Went with family, zero complaints. On a busy day there might be a wait but there is good reason people are willing to wait and you can always get the food to go and eat in their scenic outdoor dining area.

Ok the person doing our thing was very nice but the food was just not it and in the bus it’s is hot in summer and the food was not it MY GRANDMA can make better and it was very expensive for 4 people it’s just not over the hipe

Love this place. It will be at least a weekly place to eat. Everything was fantastic. The service was great. The food was even better. I had the dad's on death row burger with fried green tomatoes. My wife had a build your own and tater tots. We shared an order of chili cheese fries. We've been looking for years to find a place that had chili cheese fries like the place in our hometown that shut down years ago, and these were the closest we ever came across. Loved the bus atmosphere. The have a burger now with fried Avocado, pepper jack cheese and cilantro. It was really good.

The burgers are so good with many options to choose from. The fried green tomatoes are great! You often have to wait and the seating area is small. Overall, it's a fun and unique experience!

I had the sweet potato fries...they were good, but a bit too peppered. Burger tasted fresh. Service was excellent.

Cool vibes, great idea of sitting in a bus eating burgers! Tried Dad On Death Row burger and it was fantastic!

My burger was very messy, the egg exploded all over my face down my chin onto my shirt, the bottom part of the bend I guess was soaked in the syrup and so I had no bottom of the bun to eat my burger on so it was pretty messy and kind of disappointing very disappointing as a matter of fact. Doubt we will be going back, ( 3 of us) and it was very very pricey. Which is not a problem but could have gotten a better burger at longhorn or even Burger King just saying. I'll add photos later

Such a fun and delicious place to dine at. Kids love the bus aspect and make it all the more fun for them. My family has never had a bad meal. A often visited restaurant for date night or family meals out.

This little place was super adorable. The bus was cute also, but we sat outside because the bus fills up quick. We also had our dog with us. It’s right next to the railroad track. Outside is a sitting area for the restaurant, but in front of the bus is extra sitting just not owned by the restaurant.

The burgers were good. Not the thickest patties. We both got sweet potato fries. That was the only disappointing thing. They were saturated in pepper. Personally I hate pepper and you could not taste the fries, just pepper. So my dog enjoyed them for me.
Beer select was great for my husband, a cider option would be nice.

Food was fine, but it’s definitely more of a an experience type thing. They have seating in the bus and outside. I was passing through Ball Ground with my family and we decided to stop for lunch here. There wasn’t much a line but maybe I had just missed a rush of people because the staff seemed sooooo stressed. In fact the waitress at one point, in the middle of us ordering, walked away into the kitchen, 30 seconds later she walked back out and past us into the bus. When she walked back to the counter we were so confused why she just left and she said that it’s busy and that we just had to accept that she has stuff to do. Well we also wanted to sit in the bus, she told us there would be a 10 minute wait and so we said we would wait. When we came back in (we waited outside as there were seven of us and we didn’t want to crowd the place) she had given the large table to the family behind us in line. Well we ended up eating outside in the cities’ table area after waiting 25 minutes or so for our food. We were so excited to go as well but throughout the whole experience the staff was so dismissive and rude to us which just dampened the whole experience for us :(

I have been wanting to go here for quite some time. I finally found a few hours to take a break and walk around the downtown area. After doing that for a little bit I got hungry and thought oh I can go to the burger bus.

The food is amazing it tastes so good, The flavors just dance in your mouth. Also sitting on a bus eating is kind of unique. I got the Dad's on death row burger.
