Over the last four years, I’ve probably spent enough time at Barrel House Coffee to call it my second home.
As a veteran, finding those deep-rooted connections we once had in the military can be tough — that sense of belonging, brotherhood, and purpose. Amazing coffee shop with the nicest staff! Best coffee around. The best coffee I’ve ever had is their barrel-aged red eye (it’s a zinger!) with caramel and cream—they nail it!

Customers must try their barrel aged coffee, aged in bourbon barrels, which captures deep, spirited flavors without any actual alcohol. One reviewer got the flower child matcha and was pleasantly surprised by the subtle sweetness and beautiful respect paid to every flavor. The service is phenomenal, fast, and friendly. The staff is beyond professional, accommodating, and genuinely kind. They are very knowledgeable and patient, even when busy. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with umbrella covered seating and cornhole games on the side. They have snacks and whole bean coffee for sale. It is a locally owned hidden gem that deserves all the recognition. Hands down the best coffee in north Georgia.
