Friendly service from start to finish. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Food is good but obviously made from frozen items that get heated and served. So standard fair from a local small restaurant. This would be a good place to stop at on a road trip or for locals from time to time but not a specialty restaurant in anyway.

This used to be the place to eat because there wasn't anything else. It's quaint so it has die hard fans. Not one of my favorite places.

As with most places, people continue to not be able to fully staff businesses. I had the chicken and rice, turnips, fried okra and cornbread. My friend had fried shrimp with fries and slaw. My rice was gummy and the greens were kind of sweet. My friend’s food was just right. The service was good for me (I got there before she did) but she didn’t get her drink for a while. It was lunchtime when we got there so it was busy. We dis enjoy our meal.Parking: The parking lot itself is not in the best of shape. There is plenty of parking.

We only saw our waitress to order our food and when she dropped it off. The food was below average. Either is had no seasoning or way to much. I ordered hamburger steak with onions and gravy, which was a frozen patty with powder mix gravy. The Black eyed peas were can and way to salty also the chicken and dumplings were yellow and extremely salty due to, to many bullion cubes. We tried the restaurant because it is a staple restaurant in Baxley. However we will not return because if we are going to pay over $30.00 for a meal I at least want it to be eatable.

Great pancakes. Homegrown food and SERVICE. Nothing fancy, just homemade food. Eggs were also cooked perfectly.
The food is good, but be prepared to wait. Just waited in line 10 + mins to watch somebody order in front of me and then sit there while there was a line of people behind them in the drive thru. Why not have them pull around until food is ready and let others order? Slowest service ever.

Had breakfast, egg omelet was very good.. Asked for fried potatoes with chopped onions , theyvtried but sliced potatoes with saute onions rings on top, is NOT fried potatoes with chopped onions...Had ice water, no coffee so price reflects that...Reasonably priced for what was served

I love eating here. They have a wide variety of menu items that you could consider country cooking. I love eating their chef salad with two chicken fillets. Their servers are attentive and well-mannered. You should stop by sometime and give them a try!

After my daughters funeral, we went here to eat. The food, service & inside was great. They took such good care of us. Gave us a private room. Prices weren't bad at all highly recommend if you're in Baxley!
