As with most places, people continue to not be able to fully staff businesses. I had the chicken and rice, turnips, fried okra and cornbread. My friend had fried shrimp with fries and slaw. My rice was gummy and the greens were kind of sweet. My friend’s food was just right. The service was good for me (I got there before she did) but she didn’t get her drink for a while. Had breakfast, egg omelet was very good.. Asked for fried potatoes with chopped onions , theyvtried but sliced potatoes with saute onions rings on top, is NOT fried potatoes with chopped onions...Had ice water, no coffee so price reflects that...Reasonably priced for what was served

I love eating here. They have a wide variety of menu items that you could consider country cooking. I love eating their chef salad with two chicken fillets. Their servers are attentive and well-mannered. You should stop by sometime and give them a try!
