“I was in town for work and the locals said go to LR for lunch. Why not? I don’t know any good places and I was so glad I did. The lady at the register (found out later she was the locals aunt) was by far the SWEETEST EVER taking my order. The fried pickles were amazing and definitely enough for more than 1. I loved my burger as well. Best part, is the restaurant is an old gas station. If you’re in Monroe stop by. You won’t regret it.“

“I love this place..Its very very clean cool and nice place..All the food be great but I done fell in love with those livers fresh and hot..So go and try out their food i promise you will thank me...once you eat there tell someone else so they can eat good also..“

“My experience with The Cook Out was excellent, A definite 10 outta 10 due to the fact of the GM was first on site, the District Manager drove me up to get the day started and the food tasted great!
Customer service superberb, The District Manager is top tier and don't play about This kitchen!

“The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I really like the restaraunt itself. The layout is cool and the whole place is very clean. My only issue was the hot dogs and buns seemed different. Like, possibly a supplier change. They weren't bad, just a little bland. Not what I am used to from The Varsity.“
