The staff was the friendliest people you would ever meet. The food and cocktails at their restaurant “ The Flying Trout “ Were very good. It’s right next to part of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It also has cabins that you can rent!
It’s going to be our go to place when we go back!

We've been coming up to CL for years and it's always consistent. Friendly and attentive staff, delicious Flying Trout Restaurant, excellent entertainment and fun riding roads. The cabins are adorable too!

Service was the best I've ever had there. We have not been there in a number of years because of that. We can't wait to go back.

If you're looking for a very quaint, cute and luxurious rustic getaway this is the place! My husband and I came here for a weekend getaway from the city and everything about this place was perfect. I especially liked that the restaurant was only a few steps away from our room! Food and service was superb 🙌🤗. I highly recommend.

We stayed one night in cabin #16. The reservation process was easy. I chose to pay with affirm and for some reason they did not add on the taxes, so I never received a confirmation email. I called and spoke to a very friendly woman who was able to take the remainder of my payment over the phone, then I received confirmation of my reservation. The resort is nicely kept up. Very clean and landscaped beautifully. The dinner we had at their onsite restaurant, The Flying Trout, was delicious. The cabin itself was nice. Small, but cozy. Unfortunately when we arrived the first thing we noticed was the front door to the cabin was bolted on the outside…which means anyone with a screwdriver could come along and take off the door to get inside. There was a used beach towel hanging over the back of a chair on the back patio as well as a toy water gun that was left behind on the floor. The pillows in the twin bunk bedroom did not have covers on them and had some stains and a couple loose hairs. I had to go find clean pillowcases in the queen bedroom’s dresser to put over the pillow I slept on. The futon couch in the living area also had some white stains on it and was hard as a rock. We found a blanket folded up in the twin bunk room to place over the futon so we could sit and watch tv. The twin bunk bed I slept on was very hard and uncomfortable. I really did not sleep. We also found a bag of ice in the freezer from a previous guest, as well as half a bag of potatoes under the kitchen sink? The drain in the sink in the bathroom was not connected underneath and had been pushed all the way down so no water could drain. I called the front desk as soon as I noticed all these issues and was asked if I wanted maintenance to come out. I politely declined since we were only staying one night and stated I just wanted them to be aware so it can be cleaned better and fixed for the next guest. The woman on the phone changed her tone of voice as soon as I told her the issues. She came off as a little rude. As much as I wanted to love this place, I don’t think I will be staying again based on this experience.

We were celebrating our wedding. We planned only a short honeymoon. We were treated like royalty. Adorable location. Clean rooms. The food in the restaurant was delicious. It's much better than Black Sheep. Can't wait to come back.

GREAT PLACE! Beautiful location tucked in a quiet nook of Blairsville. Great location for checking out the mountains and trips to surrounding towns. People were incredibly friendly and accommodating. it’s been recently renovated/updated and has all your necessities covered, but the real stand out are the people working there. They could not have been more hospitable 👍👍👍

Ruined our weekend. Called us 5 minutes before checkin to tell us their system booked us a room in the requested cabin but they are not allowed to rent out for one night even though reservations made directly through their website allowed for it. I avoid third party reservations and paid a premium to book directly to avoid this but they managed to screw it up anyways and left us without a room for the weekend.
Got stuck driving all the way home missing out on our dinner reservations in the area.

Great location with many trails and small towns nearby. Our cabin was cozy, wonderfully stocked, comfortable and most importantly peaceful. Dinner at the Flying Trout was great although sometimes inconsistent.
Undeniably the best part of the resort is the staff!!! Fel rocks as a bartender and gives the best recommendations for food. Pam, Jo and Denise….i cannot say enough. You are amazing and made us feel like family!!! We can’t wait to come back, hopefully in September. I’ll make sure the Cowboy sings again!

This place is great! We only stayed at the lodge but do hope to try a different room/cabin next time. This place is very 2 wheeled oriented-covered parking or little garages. They have an area you can park your trailer if you hauled your bike up there. The restaurant had wonderful food and the gift shop had a bunch of little unique things and cozy wearable merch. The ladies at the front were unbelievably kind and funny. We felt very welcome and like we were a part of the family -even though we had just met. The sheets were so soft and our mattress was a nice mix of firm/soft. Our room was newly remodeled and I just loved the shower. Pool was closed for the season but that’s okay just means we definitely have to come back. There is a cute little creek on the property as well.

Extraordinary cabin! Very clean with awesome facilities. The patio has screen mesh, protected us from the insects and leaves. There is even an excellent outdoor hot tub for our cabin, which can allow 4 people, although I noticed that some cabins do not have outdoor tubs.

Spent 3 nights here for the vacation. Would strongly recommend the cabin for couples.

The location is also cool. I could view some mountains from our patio. The nearby towns have a great variety of good foods.

Will come back again for vacations! (Ps, thanks to Pamela who kindly introduced the resort and recommended the cabin to us. We appreciate this great experience)

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Copperhead Lodge! It was comfy, clean, and quiet. The scenery was amazing (see the photo attached of our view) and the amenities the cabin offered made us feel at home. The staff were all super sweet and welcoming! The restaurant on site, The Flying Trout, had the best food we’ve ever eaten. The only downside I would say would be the hours of the restaurant, we wanted to eat there both nights of our stay because of how good it was but they have limited hours and are closed on Sundays. We cannot wait to come back, well worth the road trip!
