We were so fortunate to be driving thru the area and saw Dam! Good BBQ! We were hungry and the smell was so inviting. We ordered the Sampler and received pulled pork, ribs, chicken, and brisket. The awesome lady even thru in a smoked hotdog! OMG! The food was terrific. We live in Murphy, but will be making excuses to be back in their area! Plus, we are new to the Carnivore Diet and this was perfect!

We dined at Dam Good BBQ today and was very disappointed! The slaw was not dressed at all the baked beans tasted like they had come directly out of a can. The brisket was not juicy, the ribs looked like they were undercooked. None of the meat had a smoky flavor. We have been told by locals that it isn't even smoked there? Very disturbing to have spent so much money for 4 people and none of us liked it. Hint from the locals "look for the smoke"

This is the best BBQ I have ever had. EVER. The brisket is amazing. Service is always good and employees are so friendly. This is more of a take out place and not a sit down restaurant but they do have outdoor tables if you want to casually eat there. I can’t say enough about the food - it’s all excellent and you won’t be disappointed.

Oh my! The pulled pork is perfect. Just the right amount of crunchy outside, tender inside. If you can stand the heat, I swear these are the best collard greens I've EVER had! (Please don't tell my grandma) Was not expecting the flavor profile on those! I'd give 6 stars if I could.

Best BBQ place in the region. Collard greens to die for. Forget Rib Country and Big Nick's in Murphy. We camped in RV for a month in Murphy and once we tried this place, we never went back to the other two BBQ places even though we went there few times first. You get soo much more pulled pork on the sandwich at DAM with 3" tall stack and the pork is perfect. It's juicy, melts in your mouth but not oily or greasy. PERFECT. Clean meat without any grizzle. Big Nick's soaks their pork in oil and Rib Country is hit or miss with dry meat.
