From Tampa and there's very few who compare to Dan's. Maria (from a Miami food family) and I dine here regularly. Always excellent. The roast pork is peerless, awesome sandwiches, cafe' lindo, fresh salads, tasty sides presented authentically, and we love that the pollo empanizado is finally listed on the menu. (still waiting for caldo gallego!) Dan's makes us feel like family. Great service, terrific cooking. Blairsville -- north Georgia -- is blessed to have such a great Cuban restaurant.

First visit. Food was excellent but felt we were discriminated against. Waited 10 to 15 minutes to have our order taken. Was never even told of any specials. (No special flyer on the table) 4 other parties came in several minutes after us. ALL were attended to immediately and ALL were advised of the specials. 2 of those parties got their food before us. When checking out the server made a comment to one of the cooks out loud regarding my weight. I will say the food was excellent.

I love this family owned restaurant. There’s no place like Dan’s Grill to get amazing Cuban food. We are locals, but I do travel and every time I come back to Blairsville Georgia I love going to Dan’s Grill. Be careful of their times, they are different But so worth waiting for and going in and getting it. There isn’t just one dish I recommend because I love them all. Everything is hot and fresh and the waitresses are just so sweet. The family is beautiful.
