GET THE CUBAN SANDWICH! Yep, get the Cuban. Very tasty. No bar, so it's mostly fountain bevs. Service is QUICK. Cost is reasonable. Good atmosphere. Stays near the top of my list, especially for lunches. RECOMMENDED!

Dan's Grill is a small family restaurant with great authentic Cuban food. I live in Miami, own a home in Blairsville so we visit monthly. We never miss eating at Dan's because we love the food. It is the only real Cuban restaurant in the area. The only one that offers a menu that is like eating at home, much better than Cuban restaurants in Miami. As I read some of the comments I am astonished. Some of the expectations expressed by a few of the reviewers are unrealistic. This is not a Michelin star restaurant, if you want that type of service you are not going to find it anywhere near there. Just chill, enjoy your meal. Have a meaningful conversation with others in your party while you wait, enjoy the moment.

For those who eat gluten free, they don't have a specific gluten free menu, but every staff member was highly knowledgeable about what items were gluten-free, which was most of the menu! They have a dedicated fryer so you can even have french fries and they can even fry the plantains gluten-free for you. The food was delicious and high quality. Can't recommend this place enough. The best Cuban food I've ever had. My friend does not have any allergy issues and he loved it as well. Service was absolutely excellent.

Had a great , authentic lunch at Dans today. Hubs family is Cuban and he is happy to drive over an hour to get the “real” thing ! Soup was not Lobster Bisque ( clicked below ) but the Roasted Red Pepper bisque was fabulous! Deviled Crab was delicious too !
Absolutely the BEST food anywhere! NOTE: New hours as of Jan 3, 2024(may show different on Google(Now open for both lunch and dinner now Wednesday - Saturday 11-3 & 4-8.Closed Sunday/Monday/Tuesday we had the veggie rice and the pork loin special both were fantastic!
