It was a clean restaurant with friendly staff. My comment is on their pricing. An 8” Philly cheesesteak sandwich for $13.99. If you want any of the usual fixings (onions, mushrooms,etc) it’s an extra $2.00. So $15.99 for a sandwich with nothing on the side. You can purchase sides for additional charge. I think the sandwich was so-so & the pricing was too high for what was served.

I had seen reviews that are amazing, but was hesitant to try... Since I didn't have high expectations of a place nextdoor to a gas station.... That changed the moment I walked in. The little restaurant is clean bright and welcoming inside, and we were greeted warmly and immediately felt comfortable here. The soup of the day, bean and ham, was wonderful, and the Philly was one of the best I have ever had, with delicious bread and a side of the best baked beans you could imagine. My wife also had the peanut butter pie, which she let me know was great. So happy to have finally come here, and I will be there often. So many times you don't feel like you get your monies worth well here you will. It is well worth it, I highly recommend you try the Halfway Cafe, you will be glad you did.

Very clean and quite spacious between tables. Excellent service. Awesome hamburger that was thoroughly cooked yet still extremely juicy. ( Not sure how they did that, but delicious) Excellent seafood and chicken salad. Tuna salad had a little more pickles than I prefer. Got the potato wedges as a side (they are actually sliced) and they were delicious, too. Will definitely go back. I thought prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.

Amazing food. I really didn't expect much when I walked in. By the time I ate I was impressed. Burger was packed with flavor and good flavor. Everything was freshly hand made. Definitely a little place you don't want to miss. Small hometown restaurant with great freshly made food.
